noise from the other rooms and street, our bathroom window shutter was broken so we had to put towels over to have privacy, bath was dirty
Clean sheets, towels.
Strong cigarette smell in the hotel and in the "non-smoking" rooms which had ash trays. The hotel was very noisy and there was a loud fight on one of the nights in the lobby. Difficult for a single traveleer to feel safe. While the lady on night shift was helpful, the man working days was rude, creepy, and unhelpful. Avoid the single rooms which have no windows except for one opening into the lobby.
location (near busstation and citycentre) - quiet surroundings - friendly and helpful staff
We had great stay in hotel Roma. Friendly staff, clean room, good location.
Everything. Stay away from this place if you don't speak Spanish and want to stay more than one night.
Proximity to the Bus station.
Room with no window. No English spoken. Unhelpful staff. Double bed instead of twin and no possibility of change. Very noisy. Got locked in the bathroom. TV did not work. No sockets. No blankets. Uncomfortable bed. No proper pillows. Horrible place.
The location was great and everything was very clean and the price was certainly right. We dealt with 3 different staff at the reception desk, 2 of whom were fine but the 3rd was somewhat annoying.
In addition to the one somewhat annoying man at the front desk, the air conditioning did not work properly (it was quite hot) and there were no English-language TV channels available.
WiFi didn't work. TV set didn't work. No TV remote control in the room. Terrible smell in the bathroom. Most of staff doesn't speak word in English (they don't understand even numbers). Stay away from this place.
every time we leave we have yo leave our key with the reception staff, who can not communicate in English
Room was nice and clean and the hostel is located very close to centre
Our room was on a ground floor, next to the vending machines with the view on to the back of the machines and the corridor. Noise was horrific - you could barely sleep in this room as hotel staff was very loud when passing by. They very stopping outside our window having conversations. Each time someone used vending machine we thought it was an earthquake! Another disadvantege was the vending machine with cans - it was being pushes inside of the corridor and then pulled out in the morning. The squeaky sound was hard to stand. It was such a shame as the room itself was really nice! We had a problem with a parking as it's rather expensive - even with the 16euro per day with a stamp from the hotel we paid nearly 24euro.. The discount doesn't work well so be warned when arriving in a car!
The location is great as it's just round the back of the train station/bus station, so good connection to the airport. The street it's in is quiet and only a 15 minute walk from there to the main centre of Seville. There's also plenty of places around the hostel for breakfast and Tapa's.The rooms were very clean and modern and it was nice to have a lift and aircon. We would stay here again!
The Wifi was a bit flaky regarding reception, but we had a room at the back so maybe that was why. As it was quite hot when we were there we had the windows open, but so did everyone else, so you could here most conversations! How ever closing them and putting on the aircon sorted that out!
The location was very good, about 7 mins of walking to the Cathedral.
The Wi-fi wasn't working at all, they gave us a code but it wasn't good. Our room was pointed to a illuminator and you could hear all the noise and the discutions of your neighbours. The walls were very thin and the mattress was awfull, it felt like you were jumping instead of sleeping
Very clean and minutes from Plaza de Armas bus station and airport bus.
The hostel is noisy. You can hear everyone else.
The room is very clean.
Only one girl can speak English. The others can speak only Spanish.
Good location, perfect for one night
Staff a bit mean. Some rooms should be avoided, especially those on the ground floor. They're right next to the reception desk! And the roads outside made lot of noise at night.
We stayed in a couple of hostals in Spain and Roma has the nicest rooms, really quite nice, nothing "careworn" if you know what I mean. The ensuite was a proper bathroom, not a jerry built construction in the corner of the bedroom like one place we stayed in. One staff person on the desk was very helpful & nice, another a bit taciturn. No one spoke much English but this is standard in Spain unless you're staying at the hilton. Very good location, close to the bus station (but not too close!), a few minutes walk to numerous tapas bars and shops and narrow interesting streets.
Couldn't get the wifi to go though may have been our laptop. The hallways are small so if other guests get home late and are noisy you will hear them, as we did.
Greta location at a reasonable price
Check in for our admittedly large group (12) was a bit slow
Consierge knows every thing and is very helpful. Rather noisy
I liked the centrality of the location and the neighbour hood was very good, the people where great. I like Seville.
nobody could speak English at the hostel, my room was situated at the lower ground near the reception and I was kept awake by residents coming in all night. I had a gift that went missing somehow in my bag and when I checked for it on my last day it was gone. How do you explain this? This made me unhappy with the hostel that someone had taken a gift from me by a member of their staff stole it.
The staff were very helpful the accommodation was a good standard the room was a good size bathroom good
The air conditioning was not working so very hard to sleep with the heat. Reception said it had just stopped working that day. Another guest said it hadn't been working all week? That was the only problem,
Matress was ok.
Got a small room with window facing the atrium. Rude receptionist who did not speak English. Noisy!
The location is awesome, 5 mins to anywhere.
wifi is very poor, air condition is poor.
1) Location great for driving to, but not inside of the city center; 2) New flat-screen cable TV with option to hear original soundtrack, instead of dubbed Spanish; 3) comfortable bed
1) The tiled and open atrium acts as an echo chamber, so rooms are not quiet when people are conversing in the lobby - especially problematic between 4:30 & 6:00 a.m. on the weekend. 2) front desk was attended by a grumpy old man who spoke nothing other than Spanish.
It s near the bus station and near the centre of Sevilla.
The staff, and a bit expensive for quality of services.
