Hostal Rural Haizea  

It had what we needed: as in a quite & comfortable sleeping quarters with ease of access of the local areas & excellent dining choices at reasonable prices.

Position, so close to Roncesvalles, was excellent and comfort and cleanliness were fine. Understandably, the evening menu ("pilgrims' fare" only) gave limited choice, but it was well cooked and very acceptable. Excellent value for money.

Friendly staff. Very clean accomodations. Great food. A good nights sleep. Perfect location for walking the camino. Highly recommend.

Myself and my brother were walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostella and this hotel was located on the route. As backpackers we chose budget accomodation, but this hotel has luxury also.

There was nothing I did not like!

Hostal Haizea was clean and comfortable and is very popular with local groups calling in for meals and to meet up which is a good sign. The staff made a special effort to fit us in for dinner. Breakfasts are great. Wi fi signal good. Lots of parking outside the hotel. Very quiet at night. Driving from the south of Spain into France, this is a highly recommendable alternative stopover or when entering Spain from Biarritz. The Roncesvalle area is green, clean and cool in summer. Perfect stop over for pilgrims starting out on the Camino de Santiago.

The room was adequate, sound-proofing and shutters adding to the privacy. A picture-postcard setting, but would not be in a hurry to stay in this hostal again,

Dinner was over-priced, and my Partner's steak had to be returned. Breakfast, which we attempted to have at 9.15 am, was a non-event, sharing the last available croissant, and no cold cuts or cheese on offer - at least the coffee was good! Customer Service was sadly not evident, except for the patient waitress in the restaurant.

Lovely village, very quiet. good pint of lager served. Dinner was okay and good value. Room very nice, really impressed with it. The young guy on reception speaks some english and is friendly. One of the waitresses was a bit impatient and stroppy but I found that entertaining more than anything...

A good clean hotel with good basic facilities, bar and restaurant used by the locals. Good value for an overnight stop.

Es un hostal correcte, però excessivament car per el que s'ofereix

El diferencial de l'habitació feia soroll, tant que vam fer saltar la llum per dormir. El que ja no vam poder desconnectar és la caldera de la calefacció que es sentia a través dels radiadors. La neteja millorable, sobretot en aquells racons menys accessibles.

La relacion calidad precio. Habitaciones muy limpias y confortables.

El trato recibido en todo momento. El lugar donde está ubicado: pueblo tranquilo y bien situado para acceder a toda la zona.

el hostal esta muy bien ,pero nosotros confiamos que estaba a 22 km de ELIZONDO(asi ponia en la oferta) y hay 55km. Por ello no hay que fiarse mucho de las distancias ,que escriben,porque no lo son.

El entorno en el que se encuentra, la cama y el confort

Algunos detalles habría que pulirlos: el diferencial de las habitaciones hace muchisimo ruido, cuando llegamos la calefaccion estaba apagada y hacia muchisimo frio, la puerta del baño tenia el pestillo roto.....
