The accommodation was comfortable and the staff very helpful. It is a centre for walking in the Alpujarras and the views are dramatic. The village although not described as thr prettiest had some picturesque corners.

everything, the amazing view, very kind and welcoming staff, the room was clean and perfect, the breakfast...
bad room, flood toilet, no tv, cold....never go again
The hotels owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Their parrot is an entertainment all of his own. The hotel is easily accessible with good car parking pretty much next door. The village is fantastic and full of history and I would recommend this place to everyone.
We have visited this hostel many times over 15 years and always find it restful and friendly
Friendly, attentive owners Three terraces with stunning views down the barranco Comfortable, homely lounge area Quiet, peaceful location Modern double glazing and blackout shutters
Bed was a bit short for me (1.88)
Friendly helpful owner, great value
Friendly & helpful staff, despite our limited Spanish & their limited English.
The view from the terace was stoning. The staff was very helpfull
The room was very small and basic
Excellent place to stay
There were at least 2 terraces available so you could easily find a private spot. Tremendous views down the valley to the Med, and looking the other way up the valley to the snowy caps of the Sierra Nevada. Very tranquil place, lovely patient owners who spoke clearly and slowly in Spanish. Cosy dining and lounge area, and good Spanish breakfasts (tostada y tomate o mermelada). Good walking info. Great value for money.
Sound echos easily and you can hear the next rooms.
Very hospitalable owners, great location and good value for money. Very cosy dining room. Mediterranean breakfast available for eur 2.50. Worth staying there!
Superb location, exceptional staff, superb value for money. Better than 5/5 (top 20%), more like 10/10 (top 10%). Well deserves the high rating from users.
Amazing location, very friendly staff and a very relaxing and homely environment.
Views from the terrace. The friendly owners. Original interior decor.
this was exactly what i was after and exactly what i got, i really enjoyed my stay here!
The staff were very friendly and gave us good advice about the area. The hotel was very Spanish and popular with them at Fiesta times. It was in a great location. We loved it!
Comfortable rooms, very nice terrace with a view of the mountains. Friendly and welcoming staff, made us feel at home.
Friendly management. Parrot. Terraces overlooking the Poquiera valley
A perfect place to stay with the most amazing views of the mountains. The walks right from the doorstep was great and the owner was really helpful in suggesting walks for us. we loved the parrot who would chatter away at breakfast. The terrace out the back was perfect for an afternoon sunbathe or read. It is right in the village and close to several good restaurants.
Great staff, very welcoming and a comical parrot that speaks Spanish.
Rooms are quite small and a little dark, but perfectly acceptable.
staff very friendly and helpful, great breakfast, and fantastic views of the Alpujarras
honestly can't think of anything
Nice, comfortable, clean, and very affordable hostal near the center of a pleasant, rural town. If you're going to Bubion, this is a great place to stay.
No real negatives about "Las Terrazas" - minor issues: it's bit hard to find though near the main road and parking (free) is a bit of a walk. But Bubion is quite hard to get to and not really worth the effort. It's a cute village, but not extraordinary, and there's not much to do. Limited options for eating, shopping, hiking, or exploring unless you get back in the car.
The owner/manager is a great bloke, very friendly and helpful. He has lots of info on local walks and can photocopy descriptions of walks (in English or Spanish).
The fact that we chose to stay there for only two days - a week would have been better!
Lovely terrace. Rustic feel.
Small room and bathroom even for just one person. Fine for summer but would be tight if you had wet clothing, coats and boots. Staff seemed preoccupied when I arrived. Was handed key and given room number and then the person disappeared rapidly without telling me that I didn't need to drag my cases upstairs but could access the room from a street level entrace. Luckily my car was near the entrance and I worked out what the second key was for!
