Owners extremely friendly, welcoming and gave good advice on where to eat out. Lovely bright room, very clean. The hostal is situated on the flat part of the town, and is in a great position for both the beach and town centre. Although we had no problem ourselves, parking nearby may prove difficult in busier times of the year

I was delighted to receive such service with a smile in a spotlessly clean hotel. This was my second stay. I love the friendly service at the hotel and the personal welcoming atmosphere. The proprietors have successfully created a characterful and Andalusian interior, with good use of colourful decor, plants and ceramics. The roof terrace is attractive too. It would be a welcome addition if one could use the kitchen by reception for making coffee etc. It is not made clear whether it is available.

Great welcome from the owner. Couldn't be more helpful - even drove us to the bus station the next day because it was raining. Provided an earlier breakfast too. Very clean rooms, charming indoor patio, a pleasure to stay.

Hostal San Juan was delightful. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent for all there is to see in Salobrena which is a lovely unspoilt Spanish town. Will definitely stay there again when is Salobrena.

The hostal was very attractive, the rooms were spotless, with plenty of space, comfortable beds with regular linen changes. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being 'in your face'.

Der Stil und die Einrichtung. Absolut in arabisch/andalusischem Stil. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen, auch auf der traumhauft schönen Terrasse. Auch wenn das Hostal nicht direkt am Meer liegt, ist man innert kürzester Zeit am Strand.
