The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They recommended places to visit, and rang ahead to restuarants for us to check availability. Sometimes the noise from the reception area travels down the hallway into the rooms. The reception area and hall have timber floors. A door between the two might eliminate this problem. |

Room clean and newly refurbished, bed comfortable, location (nearness to everything) great, internet available for free, hotel staff very helpful. Hostal very difficult to find - logo may be cool, but you can't read it, sign way up on 2nd floor. First thing you see when you get in the front door is a gutted building, something should be done to improve first impression when stepping inside door. Neighborhood marginal. Getting to room on 3rd floor inconvenient - take lift from ground floor to 2nd fl, enter office and take stairs to 3rd fl. |

Easy access to sights, restaurants, and transport lines. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean and simple room. Would recommend to others. The location of the hostal itself was less than charming. |

Staff were extremely friendly and it's location was central to Madrid. The hostal had good leaflets with everything you would need. Will be staying there again without doubt. Giorgio and staff were great. The location was inhabited by vagrants however by reading the guest reviews I was already prepared for this. |
