Plussan puolella olivat hinta, henkilökunnan ystävällisyys ja toiminta, kohtalaisen hyvä aamupala, parveke, hissi, kohtuu siisti kokonaisuus, netin käyttömahdollisuus, sijainti rannan lähellä, (uima-allas, jota emme tosin käyttäneet), lähistön kaupat ja ravintolat sekä terveyskeskus :D

Miinuksen puolelle menee ilmastoinnin puuttuminen, jatkuvasti huutavat/metelöivät humalaiset miesporukat, siivousta ei tehty koko viikkona, pyyhkeet vaihdettiin vain kerran, petejä ei petattu joka päivä, lakanoita ei vaihdettu, roskakoria ei tyhjennetty joka päivä, vessapaperia ei toimitettu vaan se piti itse käydä pyytämässä, aamupalalla oli tarjolla esanssimehua eikä ollenkaan hedelmiä

Rooms are perfect, I had number 112 on the first floor, and I even managed to get wifi from the reception area, very powerful. There were two single beds in my room, in one of them I could feel the springs in the mattress, but I moved to the other bed. Separate bathroom, small bathtub without plughole, very hot water all the time. Everything was very clean, the walls of my room looked like if they were painted yesterday. Of course you get those people coming back late, shouting and even singing in the corridors and in their room, but fortunately they come back late (or early morning) so I think they are a little tired and it does not last long. It did not bother me, then it remembered me that I was younger long ago and that I did exactly the same (actually worse). On the other hand There rooms on three sides of the building and far away from the lift and stairs, and speaking to other customers they told me that they couldn't hear anything. So, as always, it really depends on the room you are given. The hotel is very well situated, not far from the beach, and although they are plenty of supermarkets everywhere, there is a mercadona not too far from the hotel, look on the G. map, or there are also three or four Lidl a little bit further in the direction of Palma. The hostal serves an excellent breakfast from 8 until 10am, and when I write "excellent" I mean it. Windows are double-glazed, and there is a small terrace where you can take some sun in the afternoon. The receptionists were great and very helpful. I spoke to one of the managers, he is dedicated to make customers as happy as humanly possible, I also want to personally thank the receptionists, the cleaning ladies and the breakfast ladies, you are all doing a great job, you are all definitely one of my best experience with booking.

I liked the fact that the guy at reception was really hot. And also one of the men always played music and danced. It was enjoyable. Also, the people were really friendly and it was relaxing to stay there.

I didn't like the fact that the room service was poor and they did not really clean the room as much as it should have been cleaned.

Hostal Teide was very pretty, breakfast was great (eggs, mussli, etc., many types of food). location was 100m from sea, rooms were smaller but pretty. I remocended this hostal to every young couple ;)

the streets near our hostel were durty, the swimming pool had place as a decoration but not for swimming (no sun, no place where to seet or relax, no plants, very small area.

The breakfast, the staff from reception was very unhelpful, no parking space.

Correct price for the value and location.

The night receptionist was every night angry because of all the guests, or any small question.

It was perfect value for money. The room was clean and has been serviced thoroughly every day. Breakfast was plenty and big variety of choices. We have not used the swimming pool as we went to the beach but it also looked good. Free wi-fi was a big plus. It has also very good location, everything was within walking distance.

It was very noisy. One night we couldn't sleep at all because of drunk and/or stoned German young people running up and down the corridors shouting. The elevator was very old and not maintained properly so it was very noisy, too. The attitude of reception staff was shocking. We had to wait 20 minutes at check-in as we arrived at the time of handover and the guy who was at reception told us that we need to wait for his colleague as he is finished. 5 minutes later a native Spanish-speaker couple arrived and checked in - before us - without any problems while we had to wait until the end of the shift handover. I have been to many places in my life and I work at the hotel trade myself, also at Reception and Reservations but I could have never got away with a shocking behavior like this!!! After having checked-in by another guy, he asked for our passports and required us to return 20 mins later to pick our passports up. My fiance went back to collect them when the guy said he could not handle it back unless we both signed the papers. My fiance had to explain that I have an ankle injury that is very sore after the all day journey and he was not happy to leave the passports there any longer. I'm sorry but we couldn't have trusted them with an important document like this!

Nice, clean and cosy hotel. Delicious breakfasts - incredible choice.

One of the receptionist was a bit rude (to all castomers). I saw that quite few times.

The price

The anex building and location.

We used it to be near to Palma Airport for an early flight and it served this purpose well.

i have ve been in many hotels and hostels. and this is the worse ever. annex is "hotel pagasus",reception hostal teide. .bad smell of mould,no no ventilation,just a small noisy fan.security(somone went in to my room and stole money and a watch) and hotel dont even care investigate it, . most are staff rude, specially lazy nightstaff/security in hostal teide. its one of the cheapest,but now worth it.

I stayed 3 nights with my mom who is an open-minded woman, so I knew it would be alright even though the average age is rather in the 20ths... The staff at the reception was sooo helpful, all our questions got answered...in any language you wish by the way :-) Breakfast room is very cosy...all in all a great budget place for those who plan an active stay in Palma. Perfect location, bus stops to Palma city right around the corner!! And the beach, too! :-) Thanks a lot!

Too bad the swimming pool has no ideal hours for access.

no air condition in room, very much noisy. German guy are very very noisy!!!

Excellent staff, great rooms, regularly cleaned, near the beach and public transportation.

Too much young Germans - don`t be suprised if some of them makes a mistake at 6am at starts pounding at your door.

nice room with a balcony and a bath in the bathroom; sufficient breakfast; swimming pool; close to the promenade

The place is very close to the beach. And we had a separate room with bathroom and a balcony.

The whole area of El'Arenal is mostly hosting German tourists. The room had no air conditioning, so it was hard to fall asleep for the first few days. Breakfast is not very good.

Although was clean and tidy not suitable place for familys seem to be all loud single people student like so impossible to sleep at nite

As above imposible to sleep at nite reception staff were pleasant but the breakfast room had a single lady clearing tables etc who was not so polite

- Cheap - hostel really close to the beach - breakfrast included in the price - free Wi-fi in lobby

- Poor quality of breakfast (no varied) - problems with food distribution (there's only one lady which takes care about buffet - even that she's working hard food trays are sometimes empty) - unfortunatelly one of receptionist (a black-skinned guy) is very unpleasant and rude for customers - sometimes room wasn't cleaned and towels wasn't changed even if it supposed to be done - I don't reccomend this hostal for people which looking for quite - there's a lot drunk german people making noise all day and all night - There's no air condition or even fan in the room

Probably the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in, very basic and not what was on offer. No air conditioning, no television and very noisy. I book frequently with booking.com but never have felt the need to review any hotel as they have been very good. Do not use this hotel, not even for your dog.

I stayed in their second building (Pegasus Playa), 100m from main building. I did not plan to spend too much time in a hotel, so this was a good choice for me. Note that I'm explorer / survivalist :-) + room had everything I needed + nice price / quality ratio + about 4 minutes to nice beach and promenade (busy nightlife) + about 5 minutes to a big and cheap supermarket + buses go often and everywhere from there (including airport) And many young and pretty Catalan girls on the beach.

It's absolutely not for picky or sensitive people. It's not a romantic place, but practical. - slight desinfection smell from bathroom - some stains on the sheets (unwashable I guess) - loud children during the day (playground next to the building) - sometimes loud Germans in the evening (another hotel across the street) - quite poor variety of food at breakfast I had a feeling that most people around there speak German or Spanish...

Excellently situated near the beach, plus cafes etc, the staff are first class, very friendly, helpful, pleasant, first class service which is very important and makes the whole stay relaxed and hassle free. Free wifi, drinls machines, breakfast is very very good for the price....ham, cheese, eggs, beans, cereals, fruit, juices, bread rolls...the pool seating area is pleasant, and all for the excellent price of £10 a night. I really don't know how they do it and must congratulate them. Can't fault this, will stay again.....well done Hostal Tiede, the staff, very much appreciated....thankyou, and know you do a very good job. Will see you again if I come back to Majorca, and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for cheap quality accommodation.

Great location: close to the beach, near the bus stop (30 min to Palma de Mallorca, 15 minutes to the airport). Clean, large rooms with private bathroom (no hair dryer) and balcony (balcony facing the street). Buffet breakfast: several kinds of bread, eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, coffee, juice etc. Not very tasty but you can eat a lot. Good value for low price.

There is no air conditioning in the hotel. Many young people making noise at night. I woluld not recommend this hotel for families with children and older people.

I can recommend this hotel to younger people or someone who is looking for a cheap accomodation. We stayed in anex hotel Pegasus, which is situated very near to Teide. Room was simple and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was also fine. You cant expect too much, for this price, but we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in this hostel for 2 days and we were very surprised with very pleasant personnel and good conditions of the room. We were in the second building and the room was quiet and comfy. There was a free wifi, service room, buffet breakfast, and even swimming pool! It's really better to choose a cheap room in Hostal Teide than every bourgeois hotel in that area :)

Maybe it's not the issue of this hostel, but it's very annoying and I must say about this. There were everywhere germans and the sightseeing brochures in file binders available in reception were only in german language.
