Originally a 16th century convent for The Nuns of the Carmelitas order, this hotel rests in the historic quarter of Baeza, a dreamlike place where time seems to stand still.
Score from 436 reviews Very good
Location, secure parking, balcony overlooking street and a nice bed.
Nothing to dislike it is a cheap place so don't expect great things!
Location to old town. Private parking when pre booked. Quiet.
The hostal is not at street level and difficult to locate.
Off street parking, proximity to cafes and town.
drab, hygiene doubtful,
A typical spanish hostal, run by a friendly family living in the same building. They put in a heater as it was could outside. Wifi was usable most of the time.
The place is old and worn, as most hostals. An old spanish bulding with no isolation, so lots of noise from the outside during the day, not too bad at night. But, the big problem was the cold weather. Even with the heater on I had to sleep in all my clothes under three sets of duvets and it was still cold.
It is very well located next to the historical centre, the bus station, and the shopping area. The room was very clean.
Very friendly stuff. Clean rooms. Private parking is in the next building on the street.
