Only its location
Everything is small here..the room, the staircase etc
The hostel was fantastic value for money. Cheap price despite it's central location, good facilities and excellent quality of beds.
the staff were anti social and miserable. They weren't interested in welcoming you at all. Price reflected the quality of service received here. It's important to note that the staff were NOT rude just dull and nonchalant Don't be put off though, what you get for you money in other aspects shadows the bored staff.
The room is very cute and good location
no wifi and television
The room, the blankets and sheets were very clean with a nice fragrance. Although this should not be the case, people at least offered a room as requested. The location is very central and walk distance to most of places.
The reception and first impression about the hospitality of the hostel was very bad. I have travelled to 13 countries and did not see such a reception before. The guy was so cold. Although we requested a twin bed, he offered us two seperate single beds and one room was at the closest point to the reception desk which takes al the noices into room. The guy was in a position as if he didnt like to see us. His such attitudes made me afraid and made me think if we are in a suspicious place. Anyway, after long discussions with the guy he offered us the rooms as we requested. Then everything went fine until the time we make the payment. Another guy was at the reception desk next day. I wanted to make the payment via credit card and he asked me if i can pay cash. I told him that I dont have cash and he told me that he saw some in my wallet!! This made me really nervous. Finally, we made the payment with credit card as we wanted amongs his snarts.
Good location. Basic things were working properly.
You may a bit confuse to get to the hotel with the market surrounding the entrance.
Location is definitely the best positive point for this place.
Beds can be a little more comfortable.
Efficient and courteous staff. Very clean, simple room. Very quiet environment. Felt very secure. Excellent, central location but not on a road. Very good value. No hassle.Great as a base to explore Granada.
Location and stuff
Only one long pillow for two persons. During the night too noisy vecause of the central location
Central location, in a pedestrian shopping alley. Friendly, helpful staff. Microwave in hallway for guests.
Have to climb several flights of stairs, not for the handicapped. Some people a bit noisy in the hallway late at night.
Very convenient location
+ fantastic location, just around 15 minutes walking to Alhambra. Hostel is located among charming streets. + clean bathroom + comfortable bed
- air conditiong was locked up and set for one mode and was little bit loud. - very small room - it was hard to find as it is located around tiny streets full of souvenir shops.
Location, availability of staff.
A few hair in the bathroom and shower was blocked.
No parking. 25€ per night to pay to external parking.
The staff were really friendly and considerate. Even although there was a language barrier, had a lovely conversation about The Alhambra and Morocco! Good to have a wash basin in the room.
The room was cosy but a bit gloomy as there was no natural light. The fan really wasn't adequate to keep the room cool.
Nice location and nice building, pretty cheap
Although it was clean, the sewer smell and the toilet smell horribly. With the toilet door closed, i woke up several times because of the smell and had to turn on the very noisy ventilator.
Having a sink in my room, AC and linens and towels provided. Free WiFi
The Hostal was closed when I arrived and I had to call the manager to have the reception staff open the door to the Hostal. Can not adjust the temperature of the AC in the room. The shower door in the shared bathroom needs repair. My mattress was slightly damp. The hostal manager and night reception staff each told me that the Hostal does not take credit cards, only cash. When I pressed the issue, they said that the credit card machine was broken and tried tirelessly to get me to take cash from an ATM. A day later, after insisting that I pay with credit card, the manager finally turned on the machine. Nothing was wrong with the credit card machine (the WiFi worked fine the entire time). My Spanish friends told me that was likely a farce to avoid paying taxes.
EXCELLENT location!! The staff tried really hard to please us and were so nice, but spoke no English - that was difficult as sign language can only go so far. They still managed to book us a Flamenco show and put our passports in their private safe. Updated bathrooms. Quiet. Clean. Restaurants right outside for all meals.
Hard Beds. No English at the front desk. Probably the most difficult hotel to locate in the world!! Once you do find it, it feels like a secret hideout. :-)
Location was fantastic
Room overlooking street a little noisy not hostal fault as had asked for balcony
Amazing location in the heart of Granada just 1 min away from the cathedral and the beautiful Albaycin district. The Alhambra is only 10 min walk away! Amazing staff and a lot of resaurant around. Great Place!
It is a bit hard to find, very small street. A clear map on the web site would be nice.
If you are planning a budget trip in Granada, Hotel Zacatin would be a nice choice. Its location is perfect, it was like we stayed in the backyard of the Cathedral. You enter the hotel by going through a local bazaar which was an interesting experience.
Don't expect much from the room for such a price. But it is enough for primary needs. Has a great location, has a private bathroom, clean etc.
The environment was really nice. They will change and clean ur room also towel everyday. It located in the centre of granada city. Easy to find souvenir as it is located at the alley that have many shop. Many restaurant nearby open till night.
Beware of pick pocket. They will purposely greet us to offer help but actually they were distract us to do their activity. Their attire was really smart but dont fall for it. As in hostel, the cleaner has mistakenly thrown away my travel cup.
Once we got at the hostal the position is really caratheristic. The room was clean. the price was really low so we couldn't proably expect much. the space in the room was good.
The people at the reception couldn't speak english, neither italian so quite difficult even to get information over the phone how to get to the hostal or to the parking. The hostal is really in the middle of Granada city center, where is impossible to get with the car. The room was really noisy. They told us the parking was at 10euros but when we collected the car we paid 16 because the person at the reception didn't tell us that we needed a stamp on the parking card to get the favourable price.
Excellent location; friendly staff; near all turist places
A little noisy at night; Granada don't sleep to 3-4 am ;-)
