Hostal Cèntric  

The location of the hostel is perfect! We walked around the whole Barcelona's center.

The shower place is rather small. Is you are a big man, it will be tightly for you to take the shower. And there are no any shelfs in the shower where you can put on the soap, shampoo or something.

Great location, close to Metro, markets and Les Rambles. On arrival we were given a map and the main tourist attractions were highlighted. As a female travelling with teenagers, one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it had 24 hour reception and the staff were very friendly and helpful, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

The only negative was the noise level because our room was so close to the Internet lounge we could hear every word sometimes but on the plus side we had wifi in our room so the kids were happy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful--and trilingual which made communication a lot easier, and the desk was open 24 hours which made it easy to check in late and leave early to catch my flight out. The location was also really great, about 2 or 3 blocks (maybe a 10 minute walk) from the metro station Universitat, which was really useful for sight-seeing. Rooms were heated and we got room service, and lockboxes were available in the rooms (and if a previous guest had walked off with the lockbox key--you had the option of using boxes in their luggage room) to safeguard your belongings for a little over a euro a night.

There aren't any elevators, and all the rooms are up at least a few stairs. It worked out fine for me, but people with big, heavy rolling suitcases might want to take that into account.

The location was good, 5 mins from Plc Universitat and a further 5 to Plc Catalunya and La rambla. The Shower was good and powerful

Room was infested with Mosquitos (imagine in December), The bed seemed to have bed bugs as I couldn't sleep itching all night, tv had no english channels (not even cnn), You had to give the key to reception when you went out.

Very nice staff, good location, best cost benefit!

The room that's not too small, staff was helpful and friendly.

Location was a little bit far from touristic interest points.

The stairs! It is rather far up to the fourth floor.

We arrived very early in the morning and of course we did not anticipate to be given a room but the staff tried to have a room ready for us as early as 9am and we are very grateful because we were very tired and my husband was sick from all the travelling.

A kettle to heat water for coffee or tea would be mujch appreciated by hotel guests.

Clean with ample facilities. It represented great value for money. Had all the facilities of a more expensive hotel. I was more than pleased. The staff were polite and very helpful. All could speak good English & bent over backwards to make our stay pleasurable. Its cental location make it convenient for all routes ( to the city & airport) Excellent!!

Close to city centre. Affordable. Plenty of space. We liked the little courtyard to let the fresh air in. The free WiFi. The aircon.The helpful reception staff. We would certainly reccomend it

The only thing was the lack of a fridge
