The place was really clean

The room was tiny (though this was correctly advertised), the lift was supertiny, the towels wouldn't dry overnight (that's never happened to me before!) so it was a bit weird to 'dry' yourself after a shower with a wet-ish towel

Staff were nice and friendly; - Impeccable cleanliness of the rooms (entering always felt clean smell); - Free wifi; - Location close to the metro; Great choice for budget and comfort stay. Wonderful hostel. Would recommend for families visit to Barcelona.

walls are thin although it is quiet enough, room a bit small, air conditioning a little bit noisy murs sont fins mais il est assez silencieux, chambre un peu petite, air conditionne un peu bruyant

It's near the center, it's clean and quiet.

The room was really small, just the bad and a small wardrobe (a bit uncomfortable). The toilet (I have to say really clean) did not has a window and if you keep the room window closed, after a few hours (like in the night) the toilet produces an unpleasant smell (don't know why...). In the morning I found the shower cold! No problem in the afternoon.

Room was very clean. Towels are changed everyday if you ask. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very bad at soundproof. The noise from other doors and the traffic noise in the morning is annoying. There is nothing else I did not like.

I thought it was excellent

Although we booked a room without sunlight, we were satisfied with everything. Top location, very nice stuff who can speak English, clean and tidy room but reasonable price. Especially after we've checked out, the reception looked out our luggages until 5 pm. When we came back and picked them up, we asked to use the WLAN again but the stuff didn't refuse us. Really a wonderful hostal and I recommend it!

Low price = 50 euro per night, pretty closed to city center, Hotel only for 1 night (not more)

Small room, It was very, very noisy (we heard everything what was in neighbor rooms, and in hotel), It was also some noise in the pipes (even at night) => as a result continuous trying to sleep and then be woken

the Hostalin Barcelona was in a good central location for walking around barcelona or metro access, it was clean and the staff were very friendly

"Hostal in Barcelona" (what is "Hostalin"??) had the most spacious quarters - shower included - of any of our two-plus weeks in Spain? Is that saying a lot for our budget price range? No, but in such a destination city as Barcelona with a wonderful locale, it was pretty impressive. The minimalist, monochromatic interior was stylish and comfortable, and the veranda with table and chairs was wonderful as well. Barcelona will always command higher prices than elsewhere in Spain, but this was still a tremendous value for the accomodations and location in the heart of the Eixample, and only a quick jaunt out from the Barri Gotic.

The stuff is very friendly. The room was furnished barely but neatly. It's very close to the Metro, however , it's very hard to transfer to other lines especially by Plaza Catalonia to green line (La Rambla).

All the furniture is new, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Don't need anything else for a weekend in Barcelona!

It was not easy to find the hostel the first time; maybe they need a bigger sign.. Also, the room and elevator (2 persons max) were small but okay that was not a big problem for us!
