Very good,
Score from 77 reviews
“ Great location in the centre of Denia, near to shops and port within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, and rooms cleaned everyday. Surprising generous breakfast which included freshly squeezed orange juice served in champagne glasses. A visit to the restaurant for evening dinner is recommended, as wonderful and a variety of tasty food is served, great value for money! Would highly recommend. ”

A short walk to the beach and in the historic centre, this hotel features attractive interiors with wooden beams dating from the 16th century, as well as a scenic rooftop terrace. Enjoy the unique, historic atmosphere of the Loreto. The hotel was once a convent and was built over 450 years ago. It has been beautifully renovated retaining all its historic charm, allowing you to relax on the roof terrace. Throughout your stay you can learn about the history of the delightful Hotel Loreto. It is rumoured that there is a secret tunnel linking the hotel to Denia’s Moorish castle. Walk through to the airy and cool inner courtyard or sit back and enjoy an afternoon drink on the street terrace. You can also savour the delicious, traditional meals served in the Llauradora de Loreto Restaurant or the 17 other tapas bars on the street. Take the short, 800-metre walk through the historic centre to the beach where you can soak up the sunshine at a local beach bar or have a swim in the mild waters of the Mediterranean. It is a very friendly hostal situated in the perfect location in Denia. It is close to the best restaurants, the castle, the museums - it is an old convent right in the middle of the old town. You can eat very well in the evenings for 10 euros and the breakfast included in the price is excellent. We intended to stay for a few days but stayed much longer and will be back in April. The car park is difficult to find - get the address for your gps.

I loved, loved, loved that this was my final destination on my trip. It made for the perfect ending to a perfect trip! Mila, from the hotel, was the coolest! She took me around to some fun local spots, and I got to meet the locals. Fun! Fun! Fun! The rest of the staff were wonderful, as well. It's location is perfect, too! With lots to check out, in and around. I was able to walk to many beaches, which were beautiful. I highly recommend!

Was not sure what to expect as we have never stayed in a 1* Hostal but as we had our Bichon Maltese Dog we needed accommodation that was pet friendly, we were really pleased with the location also our room was spotless and the staff were very helpful we had breakfast both mornings in the courtyard, lots of Tapas bar and restaurants also plenty of shops all right on the doorstep we will defiantly visit Hostal Loreto in the future.-

The location was perfect, couldn't have been more central. Room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. What stood out for us the most was the helpfulness, friendliness and attentiveness of the two staff members we met on our overnight stay. Really memorable experience and just goes to show that the way you are treated by the staff/owner of a hotel really does make a difference to the stay. We got a huge amount for the price we paid, would have been glad to pay more for the same service. No

In a good location and the staff speak english. It's probably better to book a room at the rear as the chattering of the patrons sitting outside the numerous cafes late into the evening can be heard in the rooms overlooking the street.
