Location Quaintness Cleanliness
The hotel is in the old part of denia on the tapes street, wonderful resturants and bars, the shopping ,harbour and castle all with in walking distance
The character of the place and helpfulness of the staff.
Small, slightly ramped bedroom
The Hostal ist located on one of the best places from Denia. Below the old castle, close to the port and of course close to the beach. The Hostal has a own parking place which causes of course aditional costs. Please consider that due to the historic center from Denia the acces is very narrow (small cars).
Due to this really good location, we have had by night some noise. Because the street cleaning and garbage team works very early in the morning. But the Hostal team support us with a very good service engagement and offered us a new room. The access to the parking place is very narrow.
The location in the historical part of the city. The owners are very friendly.
Some rooms are very noisy and some less. The rooms for 3 persons are in fact a double room with an extra bed and so very small. No lift
Our room and corridor leading to room had a very bad smell, like sewage,Wouldn't stop me staying there again but would want a room at front of hostel
I couldn't fault the Hostel and everything from location, staff, cleanliness and price are in my view all worth a visit and I will use them again
In the real heart of old city. Easy to reach from bus station (3 min walking distance), the port (7 min walking) and the public beach of Denia (10 min walking).
Could be noisy in the evening if you are staying with kins - as it's located in the most popular restaurant-walking area in the city.
Location. Great building. Rooms small. Restaurant food, good value for menu del dia. Staff in restaurant and hotel very helpful.
Breakfast not adequate for the price. Car parking very short distance away but very difficult to find. Need a map to find it!
The owners are so lovely and welcoming. The location is super. The children loved the library which had loads of books & jigsaws for them to play with.
There is nothing not to like about this hotel.
Perfect location Very friendly and welcoming staff
Poor breakfast but still ok for 2 mornings
Impossible to reach hotel by car as surrounding roads are closed off during the day and evening. Therefore access poor and not good for older people or anyone with luggage. Even taxis cannot drop you by the hotel! Also no lift in hotel.
Great location in the Colonial section of Denia. On a small walk street. In house restaurant with good food. English speaking receptionist.
It was central location, clean ,comfortable, value for money and staff helpfully. The adjoining restaurant was very good.
Nice hostal Great location Lovely owners who are very hospitable
Historic building well located in a pedestrian lane lined with excellent tapas bars. Pretty courtyard and comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly staff. A little gem.
It is right in the middle of the city in a street without cars. Very close to the City Hall. Reasonable value for money.
We got a first floor room directly above the street and, although there are no cars, there are many bars and restaurants and it was quite noisy during the night.
Great street for food and bars. Owners nice.
Parking is a good 10 minutes walk. Supplements for taking our dog not explained or exempted from their need to give us a bigger room for a small dog.
One of the friendliest hotels we've ever stayed in, family run, with service second to none. Superb access to shops, restaurants, bars, the marina etc.
Very minor grumble - breakfast is contracted out to the restaurant next door - no freshly squeezed orange juice!
Food was excellent. Staff very good at catering for Gluten free diet. I bought my own bread and porridge at a very good local health food store just a few mins walk away- staff were very willing to make porridge etc.. for me.
Would have liked a sitting area inside for the winter months
Historical perspective. Staff were very helpful.
Being a family run hostel the service was excellent and also the staff were very helpful with information etc.
The car park was a bit of a walk from the hostel with cases etc
Very friendly and helpful owners, Marti and her husband Douglas, offer a fantastic stay in a lovely hotel, an old convent, but with all the modern necessities you will need for a pleasant visit, including WiFi. Our third stay so they must be doing something really well. Fantastic location in the centre of the historic zone.
location and friendliness of staff
Room were very very dark
