Central location, but very noisily street.
The windows get to the main street, where the people celebrating during all night until 6 of the morning. So it's very noisily!!! The beds are to old, biggest part are broken, make noises. It's not so clean, and the view from pictures it's different. Of course you cant expect luxury, but even for this value should be better. And breakfast?! Come on, even there is no space for it.
I have not seen such a dirt and mess in my life!! The rooms is booked a month ago painted upon our arrival, it was smelly and there were no curtains on the windows, that looked out in the corridor! We complain, but there was no other room! We've had a six-bed room, which was used for storage. It was an indescribable dirt, I did not dare to go to bed, because in the bed was bug. Morning the staff without knocking opened the door! The breakfast room was so dirty it was not possible to sit in the chair. I could not believe my eyes, so everything photographed and sent to booking.com. We knew that this money can not be at the Grand Hotel but this incredible dirt is outrageous!!!
Very cheap place, no air condition, terrible breakfast
The location was good, the hostel is situated in the middle of the city centre and near to the beach. The staff was very nice and helpfull. I would recommend others to stay in this hostel!
Because the hostel is situated in the city centre, there was noise the whole night long.. So if you come for party it's a good hostel to stay, but if you come for rest I would recommend to stay in a hostel more outside the city centre.
Great location...very central.
The staff were very helpful. They were overbooked and booked us at a hotel on the beach instead. We were happy that they helped us fast. Also helped us with transport that we appreciated a lot. Friendly staff.
We were not in the city centre in the new hotel, but the hotel upgraded us to a hotel close to the beach and helped us with transport to go and come back. We wanted to stay in centre but al least hotel did their best to help us.
nothing... it was the worst accommodation ever
everything... the smell, walls, breakfast, bathroom, etc.
We love the location, just few minutes walking distance from the main cathedral, bars, restaurants, shops, markets etc... Lovely room great size and clean, we both agreed that the place has been well decorated too and a lovely little balcony in the rooms makes the whole difference the man in the reception was also very nice with us including the blond French girl too thx guys.
The reception desk and main entrance of the building is just awful! You definitely don't know where you r getting into until u finally get to your room, terrible first impression, toilets were very dirty and no privacy at all, the lady who cleans the place was extremely arrogant and impolite English just forget about it she speaks French only! Just an amazing historical building completely des managed very sad.
some of staff is friendly and show you cheapest way like go to airport.
it was off-season so building was under repairmen, so it's a bit seems like in a ruins… Room is dark and window is old, face to main road so noisy at night I could not sleep at all. bank-bed is not comfortable.
Stuff was very friendly. But few of them did speak english. Anyhow location is great. And atmosphere is cool. Kitchen has all equipment. But it`s really small.
There is no sound isolation between rooms. So don`t be naive thinking you will sleep there. If you don`t want to party all night long, be shure you didn`t forget to take ear plug-ins with you.
The people working voluntary at the hotel where nice.
There is no terrasse at the hotel despite the fact that one is advertised on Booking.com. The is no common room. The kitchen is very small just one 4-person table for the whole hotel with 40+ beds. The cleaning lady has no respect for the guests. I do not recommend the hotel unless it is much cheaper than the alternative. Breakfast was never on time in the morning. of ten not before 830-900.
- good location, close to Picasso Museum, Alcazaba and Castle
- dirty floor in the room - not possible to lock the door from inside (and possible to open it from outside) - absolutely no privacy in the toilets - toilet paper always only in 1 of 3 toilets
Typical youth hostel, very well located, but quite noisy.
the location was only a few streets from the centre of malaga.
Good Position! The structure is the usual form Andalusia. A great house with indoor patio. The place could be beautiful...... It could.
It doesn't worth the money. It's not clean, It's not cheap, It's not cool, It's not safe.
