Difficult to find, not adequate signage.
*balcony *coffie machine in lobby
* my shower was out of order during 2 days *no air conditioner in room *very thin walls *stuff... they don't care *wi-fi very poor
The location is good, near the Metro and Arena
The Staff is willing to help but has 0 in English, unable to communicate at all. Room floor is not clean and bath room/shower is shared
Good location, helpful staff. It's a basic hotel/hostel rough around the edges but very well kept and was very clean. Good value for money.
Street facing room was a little noisy being on a main road.
Located near the City centre and really beautiful scenery. One must go out and explore Placa Espanya...its really cool! Very friendly and professional staff. Fast internet.
The shared toilet and bath! But, that has been clearly stated on Booking.com, and must have factored into the price.
Clean, a good location - a walking distance from montjuic and near a metro station (rocafort), and nice staff.
There's a room that doesn't have a window, be careful when ordering a room with shared bathroom. The staff doesn't read the comments to the booking added in booking.com
i made a reservation on the 11/7/2014 for 2 nights 30 and 31 of Aug.2014.On the Booking page there was no reference about the bathroom if it was shares or private,so the same day i emailed them asking about the bathroom. i never received an answer and i was fool enough to assume that there was a private bathroom in the deal. When we arrived we found out that the bathroom was shared, and when i said to the receptionist that i had sent an email his response was "yes i see it now" and all of a sudden only spoke spanish from that point....Another disadvantage is that the hostal is on the first floor with no elevator. So if you have disability problems like myself.....bad luck....Also nowhere mentioned the lack of elevator....
The guys are so nice and they helped us so much printing the tickets for the plain or anything we needed.
The breakfast was a bit poor which contained an apple, a juice, a croissant and a yogurt. I would like to have any coffee included but instead of that, was nice.
cleaning in number breakfast in bed
lack of air conditioning (broken) noisy street
The bathroom sounded like all the pipes were going to burst everytime you flush, wash, shower. Didn't inform us of LOUD construction every morning at 9am Breakfast wasn't served but paid for. One of the owners was really rude the other one was awesome but they switch shifts.
The location was good, between two important metro stations. However, it's a little far from La Ramblas, which is the center of nightlife
The staff do not know any English, which causes lots of troubles for those who don't know Spanish. One of them tried to make me clean the shared bathroom after I used it. It was awful, we couldn't come to terms using body language of course!
Friendly staff- Excellent location-the room is very nice and we loved having a terrace and a big bathroom
Minor downside: Huge bathroom, with a Jacuzzi which we didn't expect having in the room. However, a bath plug wasn't provided! so although it said in the room description that the room had a bathtub, we couldn't take a bath. (I understand that they want to save water but they shouldn't mention the bathtub in the room description, I chose the room specifically because of the bathtub :( )
The staff were very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend it to others that are looking that for a quiet place closer to the city.
It was far from Barceloneta. It took like 45 minutes to get there (walking). Another thing I did not like was that I had to ring the door bell to get into the hostel building. I felt like I annoyed the staff since my friends and I would be out very late.
Good location, close to metro station and the city center/ old town. Fast wifi, clean and tidy room. Helpful personel.
Basic furnishings. Window with a view on internal, not pleasent courtyard, without the possibility to be opened, so it was pretty stuffy in the room. Very basic and limited breakfast (apple, small yoghurt, small and not very fresh croissant, small apple juice). Personel can speak very basic English.
staffs are very nice and location is really good!!
Danny, the office man, the receiver of guests and main concierge dude, was wonderfully accommodating and saw to it that all my questions were satisfied, with the added benefit of speaking English. The other guys who rotated in were good too and knowing English didn't seem to get in the way of communication. The location is fab. The # 1 underground us just down the way, that's the one in 4 short stops you can be in the Ancient part of town. Great bang for the buck, Patrick Erwin Great 'bang for the buck,' or however that goes
...Nothing that just being aware that were all human won't begin to fix.
