Score from 60 reviews Excellent
-Location was perfect... 5 min walk to the beach... 2 min walk to downtown... beautiful rooftop terrace looking at the fortress. We had a room looking at the Santa Maria church. -We had an apartment room and it was an excellent size and very clean and comfortable.
-The bathroom had some minor maintenance needed... toiletpaper holder broken, shower head was needing replacement. -Not sure if it was language, but the reception staff were not very friendly or helpfull. -Nice to have breakfast but it was very basic.
I like this Hotell and very friendly Staff and Helpfull. Breakfast was perfect on the Terrace on the mornings. And a calming effect upstairs. Great Location and Wifi SUPER!!! Recomended will visit again.
I only had some problems with the Elevator witch was 1 meter from my Room, and it was peaople going up and down and it is not so isolated in this Hotell. So bring your Earpluggs with you as a Standard to all Hotells as backup like i did. No moore bad things, All good
A very well priced room, with air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi and a power shower in a small but well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was basic (continental style), but you can (within reason) help yourself to as much as you like. Situated right opposite is the city's main modern art museum - well worth a look particularly the Picasso and Joan Miro pieces. Access to the castle is only a 5-10 minute walk away, and in the opposite direction is the main city centre and marina. I paid €27 for one night in December 2014, including free Wi-Fi.
I found no complaints or problems with this hotel, and would recommend it for either a single night stop-over, or a longer stay.
Very good atmosphere and central location.
The beds and matrices in apartment 4 were terrible, we did not sleep during our entire stay. If replaced the whole place is excellent.
It was very noisy from a nearby café plus Street activity in the late night and early morning
We liked the room, the view, the breakfast terrace, the location !
Bathroom door scraped floor, needs adjusting.
The standards in Spanish hotels in this budget is often not what I consider 'good'; most of the time its 'do-able'. But La Milagrosa is the exeption! Its clean, its bright and the staff is so nice! Staying in La Milagrosa means you have a wonderful location to discover lovely Alicant on foot!
This is not a complaint, its a suggestion: If only the rooms had some (simple) decoration on the walls; that would improve the atmosphere even more!
Good location, good breakfast on rooftop terrace.
Room a bit sparse but for price, no complaints.
Finding the hotel was really easy - straight off the C6 bus from Alicante airport then just a couple of hundred yards from the Puerto del Mar bus stop. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, especially nice on the roof terrace in the December sunshine, with the most amazing view of the castle above and Cathedral immediately opposite. The apartment rooms were well equipped and outstanding value for money. Best of all were the lovely restaurants so nearby with patio heaters, friendly staff and excellent food. We particularly recommend Quo Vadis and Rosa.
We were travelling with friends and their twin room was very small looking out into an interior area, so quite dark and not attractive. The apartments and rooms looking out over street or, even better, the Cathedral, were much better and worth asking for.
Location Evening Front Desk Staff:)
Cleanliness and state of public bathrooms. Morning front deskman. Wouldn't give change for vending machine and very unfriendly.
The location in the old town, near the castle, beach and restaurants was excellent. Calm but close enough to everything. View from the roof terrace and our room was fine. Wifi worked well and the right to use the kitchen was helpful.
The rooms are very basic and not in a cosy way. The atmosphere was hostellish, not so homey and familiar as I expect from a B&B.
location, roof top
wasn't very sound proof, when i had people in rooms next to above and below i could pretty much hear what they were saying. Sleep with ear plugs and everything was great
The hotel is very quiet. Great for those who want a break from everything.
The room was large, had a chair and good lighting, really comfy beds and good view. Breakfast was good too!
The room smelled very strongly of bleach. Request a room that doesn't look over the plaza because there is a bar underneath and it never seems to close. Very loud at night!
Superb location in quiet area of the very centre. A wonderful view from big sunny terrace. Four bathrooms for eight rooms on the floor, no problems with hot water. A small lovely balcony in the room.
Not enough plates/mugs in the kitchen. Road sign of the B&B for car (when going from the coast road) is inaccurate: you should turn left, not right, as there is too much one-way traffic roads in Alicante.
Very comfortable beds, hot water, lovely terrace to have breakfast on, friendly staff, possibility to cook simple dishes on your own, and great location. And the best - TV programs have all subtitles in Spanish so I picked up my Spanish a lot!
hard to pinpoint... I was to busy enjoying myself to notice..
Thanrks a lot hersonal jf hotel for help me with plains check in
good overall location loved the roof terrace and breakfast
newly refurbished room...very smart..great bathroom roof terrace is fab breakfast is simple but plentiful location is superb
Breakfast. Tomato, cucumber and eggs sometime ...?!
very kind and helpful staff!
Some noisy fellows on the street, but that's not the hotels fault
Excellent location! The beach is just five minutes away, the path to the castle starts nearby. The view from the balcony was amazing, a small square with a beautiful church. The staff is super-friendly! Th kitchen is free to use for the guests, very convinient. And, of course, breakfast on the terrace - good start of the day!
Breakfast could be a little more generous, but that is ok. Apart from that, everything was superb!
Lovely room with en-suite bathroom and view of Basilica Santa Maria, in an excellent location. The roof terrace was fantastic, a basic breakfast was served there in the morning, and great to be able to sit there in the evening with a bottle of wine gazing at the awesome view of the castle. The kitchen facilities on the roof terrace can also be used by guests (fridge, microwave, cooker). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and full of tips for things to see and do. I loved this place, and would definitely stay there again.
I can honestly say that there was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel, everything was positive
nice original place in the center of town. Rooms a bit basic but a perfect price quality level.
black moist spots in shower.
It depends what you want. I travelled with one of my kids so I lookedfor a youth-hostel like hotel...not expensive. Thats how to look at this review. Very near to little shops, sea and restaurants as well to the bus to pe the airport.
The bathroom (walls ) were dirty also after saying...
