The view over the local church is superb. We enjoyed it from our room and then again at dinner and breakfast when we had a table in the window overlooking it. of course the real draw is San Juan de la Peña. Why stay in noisy Jaca when you can stay here and be much nearer?
Scenery, village and rustic charms.
Other guest using loud TV in middle of the night. No staff on site to contact.
View of the church from the balcony: unforgettable. A day out walking around the new and old monasteries above the village. Well worth a visit. Great ridge walk from new monastery in good weather up to San Salvador but take water and food.
Room comfortable and clean but with noisy snoring neighbours. The ridiculous show about Aragonese self-importance in the new monastery: worth going to just to have a good laugh or cry about how history is manipulated by politicians.
Balcony with a view at the romanic church, nice restaurant on the first floor, clean and confortable rooms. Lots of tracking routes start nearby, a 5 minute drive from the fabulous San Juan de la Peña monatery!
The hotel was easy to find, clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The hotel and room had everything we needed. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the food was very good. Santa Cruz is a pretty village.
Superb location in the village, although some distance from the town.
No heating available during our cool and wet overnight stay
location. very comfortable and cosy feeling
After a long hike through the mountains this hotel is like arriving in heaven. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff that help with anything you need. The food from their grill is just delicious. The view from the rooms is beautiful.
The room was clean and cheerfull. Nice to have accommodation with a bath. Would have been even better to have a plug for the bath or wash basin. I guess it cuts down on water consumption.
No bath plug, silly little towels.
