Convento la Gloria is a restored 15th-century convent. It features a typical Andalusian patio, and some rooms offer excellent views of Seville Cathedral and Giralda Tower, just 300 ft away.
Score from 550 reviews Very good
This charming guesthouse is just 820 ft from Seville Cathedral, in the historic Santa Cruz district. Callejón del Agua offers free Wi-Fi and air conditioned rooms set around a central courtyard.
Score from 490 reviews Excellent
Doña Manuela Casa Modesto is located between the Santa Cruz neighborhood and Seville’s old Jewish quarter, next to the Murillo Gardens.

Excellent location on lovely square. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Good value.
Rooms rather plain and uninspiring.
A cosy, original Hostal which is in an excellent location for exploring the sights of historic Sevilla. I'll probably regret giving it the thumbs up as maybe it will be full next time I want to stay !
Excellent value and location, very spacious room.
WiFi didn't reach my room, Air conditioning too strong.
Staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was a good start to the day. Air con worked well.
Our friends overlooked the square and were kept awake by street cleaners until 1:00 and then woken by table shifters at 5:00.
Great olde world hotel. Situated in the old town.in a nice little square. Five minutes walk from cathedral and Real Alcazer. Staff very helpful. Food good although a bit dearer than other places. Good Wi Fi connection in the room. Five minute walk where a taxi will drop you off.
Great location in the middle of the old neighbourhood of Santa Cruz with its small streets. Our room was quiet, no problems with noise from outside. Room was clean, not that big but fine for us. Reception staff was very helpful: they took time to answer all our questions, provided space for luggage after check out and even printed our boarding passes on our request. Cute little place.
The location is fantastic, plus we prefer smaller, cosy hotels - this is more like an inn, bags of character.
Bit noisy in the square at night, but we asked for an outside room so I'm not complaining - I must admit I didn't expect the binmen to be quite so noisy or so early !!
Fun area around the hotel. Decent breakfast.
Staff was unfriendly. Ants in the bathroom. Price was really high for the quality of the hotel. Our room overlooked the patio of the restaurant which was very noisy until about midnight, but then fortunately got quiet until 7 or 8am when dogs were barking. Would not recommend this hotel unless you are like us and couldn't find anything else in this price range available.
Location, friendly staff, breakfast (mixed fresh fruit, croissants, yoghurt, breakfast cereals), spacious bathroom with good, though a little complicated, shower.
Beds a little hard. Cleaning of the room could have been better. Furniture and wardrobe were very dusty. It improved after we mentioned this at the reception desk though.
Location, very nice balcony view over Santa Cruz hood, spacious room and excellent service from staff
Sliding door in bath tube needs repair, pillow could before comfortable
Great location, great price
Air con didn't work
Fantastic value for money. Amazing location and comfortable bed with a great shower. Breakfast was really good too. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
No wifi in the rooms.
I asked for a quiet room, as I am a light sleeper, and was indeed allocated "the quietest room in the hotel" complete with birdsong! The receptionist (Manuel?) was very helpful and very patient whilst I tried to express myself in Spanish. The location was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend The Laurel to solo travellers.
No English language TV
Small rooms, too simple for the price and very hot room.
Nice central location near the Alcazar, cathedral etc. The entrance is through a restaurant. Room are big and comfortable. Bathroom very clean.
No wifi in the room.
The helpfulness of the staff. The proximity to the Alcazar and the old sector with shops and restaurants nearby
The coldness of the room - and rather sterile and not very pretty even though clean and a modern bathroom. Terrible breakfast.
I do not think you can find better places to stay in Seville, even paying much more, than Hosteria del Laurel. This charming family owned little hotel and Meson is located by a lovely plaza in legendary Barrio de Santa Cruz. Rooms are cozy but confortable and fully equipped. The staff treats you like family as do the mesoneros, accommodating all your needs. The food, traditional andalusian fare, is supperb and at great prices. I could not ask for anything more
Perfect location right in theold town, rooms are clean, polyglot staff
The younger receptionist---the older men were not so helpful--was very helpful and booked tickets for our tour of the Alhambra.
Almost everything else. Although the hotel was the most expensive we stayed on on our recent tour of Andalusia, it was outstandingly the worst of the four hotels. The room was very small, with small (probably 2ft. 6In.) uncomfortable beds, far too small for a tall man like my husband, with very weak overhead lighting and only one bedside light, so that the room was very dingy and reading in bed was impossible for one person. We were told that another light was unavailable, but eventually when we threatened to change hotel, one was produced. We were eaten alive by bed bugs and mosquitoes.
The location is ideal and the restaurant is very good
No English language television service.
Great location in the middle of the historic alleys of Seville
Noisy at night with the nightlife on the street below
We like destination for city tour.
No wifi in room. No useable wifi in public area on second floor. Wifi available sitting in a chair right by desk but then even this broke down.
Friendly staff, Excellent location, nearby taxi stand, and many excellent restaurants and sights in very easy walking distance.
Very very loud at night with the street noise, even with windows shuttered. Old town tours started in the morning in the square outside the hotel so could not sleep in to make up for being up till 3 am with restaurant noise and then the trash truck. Wireless was promised but it not only was unsecure it did not work beyond the lobby.
