Friendly, and very helpful staff who all spoke English. Although no tea making facilities, staff found us a kettle and cups. Good door security. Staff on duty 24 hours. Traditional Spanish decor with a homely atmosphere. High standard of cleanliness. Freshly decorated rooms all with air conditioning. Spacious shower. Very central but quiet location only 2 minutes away from la Ramblas. Loved it. |

Very nice, clean hotel. I came to see Barcelona, the hotel served its purpose. It was in the heart of the city. Of course, it comes with a price... It gets noisy at night. But this is Barcelona! No elevator, no tv. There was no hair dryer in the room, I had to ask for it. But this was very minor. |

Friendly staff, clean place, great location For some reason they had made a mistake with our booking, and although we clearly had a booking for two rooms, they only had us down for one. They did however offer us an alternative. |

Its convenient location. It is right next to the placa catalunya metro station and The Ramblas and the airport bus. We had been staying further up the coast and this was our stopping off point before flying home. Unfortunately we were in an apartment on the fourth floor and there is no lift, however, the location, staff friendliness etc more than made up for this. We have recommended this hotel to friends and they have enjoyed their stay there. |

The hotel was in a great location! Right near the Rablas and metro. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again. CAn't beat the price either. |

Fantastic location. Stayed in apartment with 2 bedrooms so we had space to sit when children were asleep. Apartment very tired. Walls, furniture and bedding grotty. We stayed for 2 nights and no cleaner came in even to empty the bins. |

A really nice pretty old style small hotel with a very helpful reception. Excellent postition. My room was very dark as the window looked out over all other buildings, and all the drainage and water pipes ran down the wall of our room which made it smelly and noisy. |

Staff are great, very helpful. Location is the best, very accessible, in the heart of the city! The rooms are fine, small but clean and have a/c. I love Barcelona, and loved Hosteria Grau also, I will comeback for sure! Bathroom´s hould be larger, especially the shower space |

It was a 2 star hotel but had 5 star service. The location was excellent and the staff was some of the best and friendliest I dealt with during my travels. A must stay while in Barcellona. |
