Friendly Staff Excellent Service Excellent room Excellent food & wine
Everything. Very pleasant staff. We were upgraded to suite which was amazing. The decor was fantastic. Excellent meal in restaurant. We can recommend the lamb. The wines on sale in the bodega were good value and quality. We will stay again.
Excellent food and wine plus very creatively designed rooms in nice surroundings.
We booked a junior suite for two nights, Las Barricas. The Hotel in it's current state was only opened last year, and the room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. Great jacuzzi bath and huge walk-in shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good choice within easy reach of the ferry terminals.
Unfortunately the mass of fruit flies that descended on us as soon as the wine was opened at the dinner table made for a very rapid meal. Don't go for the spare ribs unless you like underdone pork fat. Very disappointing after the other great aspects of the hotel.
Stylish and chic hotel adjoining a working bodega. we ate 'bar food' cooked in the kitchen within sight of our seat… which included some excellent mushrooms brought in by local boletaires… and hamburgers.. excellent.. the wine is good too Well appointed individually styled rooms add to the overall effect. Good breakfast and overall excellent value.
The decor was great.
The unusual decor in our room El CID which is probably representative of other rooms. Great fun! Restaurant was excellent but be warned the Menu is a challenge - go hungry. Good lighting and WiFi
No hot water! So beautiful top of the range shower system but no use without hot water! On reporting only indifference. No bowls for cereals at breakfast, eventually produced by single overworked waiter.
Bedrooms, staff, location.
Everything,especially the room.
Nothing to dislike
The room was perfect. The staff were great. The tour if the bodega was excellent. The food in the restaurant and cafe is good quality and of course the wine is good.
The breakfast did not have much choice
Recently returned to the hotel to view the recent re-development. It is about a 15 minute detour off the main North/South motorway and is well worth a visit. The small bodega has been transformed into a 15 bedroom Hotel that is extremely comfortable whilst being genuinely quirky with the wine themed rooms. The rooms are extremely well done with all mod cons. The hotel has tapas, snack & restaurant facilities with lovely restaurant and nice sunny terrace. Food was good ( we stayed Monday night and everything was available with excellent service) and buffet breakfast was really good. If you stay ask Pilar or Naomi for a tour of the rooms it is well worth seeing! Selection of wines on sale from the attached Bodega is also very good and well priced. Well worth visiting.
A delightful, and slightly quirky room! Very friendly, helpful staff, very buzzy and busy and not at all touristy.
there is nothing not to like
Just Great in all meanings to visit this winery-disign-hotel
At all times the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They could not do enough to ensure that we were happy and all our questions and requested were satisfied. The room was magnificent, in fact so good, after walking into it the first time I went straight back to reception and booked the next night as well! The winery tour and tasting, at the property was excellently presented by Eléna and was interesting as well as informative. The wine is very good, in fact too good as we purchased several bottles to enjoy during the remainder of our trip through Spain
The decor was fabulous as was the wine. Our room had the cupola with twinkling stars all night, and the biggest bed I have ever seen in a hotel
Atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing and interesting decor following the bodega theme. The use of old and "sculptured" bottles was very clever.
The house red was disappointing and we had some confusion over our evening food order and what was served, but the quaility of the food was so good we didn't complain at all.
Lovely, if slightly wacky, room with great facilities. Relaxed and friendly vibe. Look out for great value lunch menu.
Only issue was a number of lights in room which could not be switched off, incl TV, bathroom light showing through glass wall, and very bright em. exit light, prompting major operation to cover up each night. If staying on Sunday night, be aware that the restaurant may be closed.
Every room is different, but all share exuberant and over-the-top decor. Lots of fun, while also being large and comfortable. Dining at the bodega's restaurant is a gourmet experience. And the wines are fabulous! The breakfast offerings are the usual, but a perfectly fine way to start the day.
The wine tour was excellent and the decoration of the room was fantastic!
The originality of the hotel enologico
No complaints at all!!
Very unusually designed but very good room. Food was of a very high standard All staff were very friendly and obviously liked working there
Nothing at all
We loved the whole establishment from the starlight ceiling to the quirky use of bottles and barrels in the oenological theme of decoration throughout. Food and their own wine also excellent.
