Hotel El Puntazo  

The hotel el Puntazo was spanish looking and even better when we arrived than the brochure showed , it was our 40th wedding anniversay and they gave us complementary dressing gowns and slippers in our room and also made a heart out of the towels on our bed, what a lovely gesture the staff was very nice and helpful the rooms were a lovely size and very clean we will definitley return and stay there again thank you el Puntazo for an unforgettable anniversay.

The only thing was the toilet roll holder other than that nothing wrong at all great hotel.

My wife and I thought the location was superb, just across the road from the beach or a short walk to one of many beach bars offering loungers and serving very good food. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was very good with plenty of variation. Also the pool and all communal rooms were well maintained and our room was very quiet. The staff were helpful whenever approached for help or assistance. There are many good restaurants within walking distance and also a good bus service to nearby towns.

The toilet roll holder in our bathroom was not user friendly. The paper kept tearing off inside the holder and it had to be fished out occasionally.

We liked the setting, the gardens, the architecture and the position near to the sea and restaurants and bars in easy reach. The buffet breakfast on offer was very good and the decor was good and was in good condition. We were also surprised to find that we had a lounge and kitchen area as well as a bedroom and bathroom. The suite was comfortable, especially the beds which often let some hotels down.

I previously only visited this hotel in the evening for a post dinner drink. Decided this time to stay in the hotel for 8 nights. Great decision!. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient . Rooms very comfortable and clean. Bar service & evening entertainment first class . a very relaxing hotel with great location and good value . Only critisism was breakfast which was a bit basic and not good value .

The room was very spacious and clean. The receptionist spoke english and free parking was available at front of hotel. Hotel just opposite beach.

The hotel is not for families, neither is the resort. Hotel and resort suits young people best. The hotel was quite expensive and there was one price for breakfast and dinner - no choice available. However there was lots of eating places around, very few spoke english - flies were everywhere, in my food, glass and face, I found this very uncomfortable. A yong person's resort and although the views and beach were delightful I would never stay there again.

The hotel is in the centre of Mojacar opposite the beach. There are many lovely beach bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and the cleanliness was excellent.

Unfortunately doing up pool area / landscaping during stay so nowhere to sit comfortably outside. Bar area lacked atmosphere but maybe because hotel very empty. Rooms ok but tired and in need of refurbishment.

The location to the beach and the terrace of the junior suite with a view of the sea.

The pictures on booking do not correspond to the junior suite. Although it says there is Wi-fi, we didn't have it in our room (322). One of two burners in the kitchen didn't work and the utensils for the kitchen were limited. We actually had to buy a pan and other things there. The bed is extremely hard and difficult to sleep on. Sewage Smell from the pipes in the bathroom (sometimes). Overall it seems like poor value for your money (if you visit during the peak season).

Dieses Hotel hat definitv schon besser Zeiten gesehen. Bei der Ankunft fand ich die Anlage ganz okay aber beim genaueren hinsehen... naja!!! Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht die größe des Zimmers war angemessen. Die Möbel in diesem Zimmer waren hässlich grün aber gut das ist Geschmackssache, der Balkon war zwar groß aber schön ist anders überall gesprungene Fließen und Flecken. Staub und Haare unserer Vormieter begrüßten uns ebenfalls. Die Außenanlage sowie der Pool war jedoch ganz schön und auch gepflegt. Das Essen war nicht wirklich genießbar und auch nicht frisch, einmal zum Frühstück gabs Schimmelteilchen... wers mag! Ich kann nicht nachvollziehen wo dieses Hotel seine Gute Bewertung her hat - vielleicht lags auch an der Nebensaison! Normal sind wir nicht empfindlich aber dieser Urlaub war echt sehr enttäuschend für uns!

Excelente ubicacion y bufet bastante bueno. Trato familiar. Ideal para disfrutar de la playa y de la zona de ocio, chiringuitos y discoteca Mandala.

Tiene que renovar las toallas y usar mas suavizante!

Todas las instalaciones son estupendas la habitacion era muy amplia y sobretodo la amabilidad de los dueños en especial Sra. Rosa fue maravillosa, tuvimos un problema familiar y no pudimos estar todos los dias pero volveremos a verlos.El bufet es mmuy variado y con bastante calidad.
