Hotelul este amplasat langa statia de metrou Monumental, dar este la o distanta destul de mica de centrul vechi al Barcelonei si foarte aproape de Sagrada Familia, intr-o zona linistita.

The hotel was very close to Monumental metro station making exploring the city easy. Our room was basic,very clean and had everything needed for a short break. More importantly, the bed was comfortable...crucial when you have walked miles during the day! There was a bakery on route to the metro where you could have coffee and a pastry for less than €3 which was great (breakfast in the hotel is about €9) and there were several bars, a pizzeria and a couple of supermarkets near by. Although a couple of the reception staff weren't 'overly friendly' (an occasional smile wouldn't have gone amiss!) they were still polite and helpful. Checking out was simple and they kindly kept our luggage for us until we were ready to head to the airport. Top tip: Get a t10 card for the metro...costs about €7 and gives 10 trips which we found was enough. Lots of things are in walking distance, I.E.go to gracia, walk down trendy Passeig de Gracia (Gaudi's cas batilo and casa mila are down here), turn onto Av. Diagonal (house of spikes), then onto Carrer Mallorca and to the sagrada familia. You can walk back to the hotel from here. Stop for lunch and the odd cerveza on route and you'll have seen a few of the main sites, had a lovely walk and only used 1 ticket. Don't miss: parc guell and castell de montjuic (amazing views).

There wasn't really anything not to like...it did exactly as it said on the tin, it was a clean basic hotel in a decent area. My only complaint would be the lack of places to eat in the locality. There were several tapas bars and a pizzeria but that was about it (a couple of other restaurants close by were closed for renovation). We got the metro into the old town one night but when you have spent all day wandering the city you tend to just want to eat nearer home on an evening. If you look at reviews for restaurants before you go be aware the Eixample is enormous and the Carrers stretch for miles. You may think looking at the map that somewhere is close by but it may not be near a metro stop and you might have to walk ten blocks to get there!!!

The room was really cosy and clean. It was surprisingly quiet. It has also a TV, but we didn't have time to watch it. The bathroom was also very clean and we had clean towels every day. Shampoo and soap is also available. The staff at the reception were nice and friendly and they made an effort to help us with the answers. We haven't tried breakfast so we don't know what's like. The metro station Monumental is really close and also Sagrada Familia - about 8 minutes by walk. Just around the corner there is nice restaurant where you can also have breakfasts - they offer menus with sandwich, toast, juice, coffee.....So all together definitely the place worth staying!

The only 2 things were: a room without balcony, cause my partner smokes, but that didn't bother him too much, he went downstairs to smoke and the other thing was not such a nice view from our room. We stayed in 2nd floor but it looked like ground floor so there was bad day light. But as I said we were on the road from 10am till 11pm, so this 2 things didn' bother us so much. Still really nice hotel!

The reception of this hotel is the best one. He told me the detail of what I want to know as far as possible. And the room is quiet enough to make a good sleep. You will not hear the noise from the corridor. The hotel is so near Sagrada Family.

An excellent hotel, a way better then you'd expect from any 2star accomodation. Rooms nice and clean, location is just great

The hotel was no spectacular. It was ok, just what we were looking for, It is not far from The Colisseo, and some other attractions. The price was reasonable for the ubication. There is also Terminal Station closed so if you are coming from the airport or train is easy to arrive to the hotel. You can as well get into the metro station from Termini, or if you wish to walk is also fine. However will take you 10 to 15 minutes to get in the Foro or Colisseo. The rooms were small, in my own opinion isn´t very very clean but was ok. In the limit Breakfast was ok and included They have lift so is not a punishment to arrive with some luggage. The employees were kind

We chose it for being close to the Barcelona Norte bus station, about 10mins walk away. It's also close to the Sagrada Familia and the Monumental metro station. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet at night. Staff is friendly, room was nice and clean.
