Confortel Bel-Art  

We paid 78 euro per day for 3 nights in November 2011, breakfast included. The price was not low but it was one of the lowest I could find the same period in Barcelona. Breakfast was good and had many different things to try. Room was adequate in terms of space and hotel was conviniently located near AlfonsX metro station (just 5 min away and the metro needed no more than 12-15min to get you to the centre) and 15min walk to Sagrada Familia. Staff was helpul but could not speak english easily. This was not a problem though. Hotel also seemed very clean. In general terms, I feel satisfied from our staying in Bel Art.

The building had some plumbing problems. We had to change room because the water did not flow away from the bath tub :) We were taking a shower and our feet were inside a tank of water which needed about 30minutes to flow away. There was also a strange smell coming from the bathroom's siphons but not all the time. Also the air in the room was very dry due to the central ventilation (old type) and we had to open the window a little during the night to sleep properly. Even though the hotel had this minor problems I think I would stay again if a had the chance. I consider it an average/good value for money considering the alternatives in Barcelona.

Bel Art looks quite pretty in reception with some art decor bits and pieces.

The Room smelled really bad as if their was trapped water in the bathroom. We asked the hotel staff about this (in fluent spanish and english) and they said they had received this complaint before - we asked them to move us and they didn'T. I chose this as a deal on booking.com thinking I'd wow my wife with a 4 star hotel - we had a good holiday but the hotel was far from perfect. Also 15 euro's for breakfast???

We'd actually chosen the place because the room was at a discount... I don't think we'd be willing to pay the regular price, but the room was very nice and quiet, the staff helpful and the location's good, not too far from the Alfons x (related to Malcolm?) metro station.

I don't have anything negative to say about the place.

Le design du mobilier, le petit déjeuner continental et le sourire de la responsable des petit-déjeuners. Proximité d'une station de métro ( 200 mètres) et de la Sagrada familia.

Le prix du parking exagéré car indispensable si on ne veut pas récupérer sa voiture à la fourriére !!!! L'absence d'effort à parler le français pour le personnel de l'accueil. L'insuffisance à parler anglais pour le reste du personnel.

No se puede calificar al hotel de un cuatro estrellas. La entrada parece algo pero luego subes a las habitaciones y son pequeñas y antiguas. Si ofreces una triple es una triple y no una doble con supletoria, y al ser las habitaciones pequeñas no teniamos paso. El armario pequeño y cuatro perchas. El baño justito, un gel y un champoo. Las habitaciones estan mal insonorizadas y se oyen todos los ruidos del pasillo. En resumen nada de un cuatro estrellas; tres y....

Hôtel moderne, déco design, mais qui ne correspond toutefois pas à un 4*.

Personnel désagréable, sauf la jeune réceptionniste du matin. Petit déjeuner très moyen, pas de confiture, ni miel. Pain souvent rassi, café ayant cuit des heures.

Fica próximo da estação de Alfons x (cerca de 2min a pé) e a cerca de 15min da Sagrada Família. Os quartos são limpos e no geral o hotel tem um aspecto agradável. Os funcionários foram sempre prestáveis. Tem um supermercado e algumas mercearias nas redondezas para quem quiser poupar algum dinheiro no pequeno almoço.

O nosso quarto em Abril estava muito quente e o ar condicionado não arrefecia, apenas aquecia ainda mais o quarto. Não têm chinelos para podermos calçar depois do banho.
