Location is very close to Sagrada Familia. You can rent-a-bike in hotel which is very useful because to the city center is downhill ride. Metro station is very close.
First room we got was with a water leak in the toilet ceiling, after asking for room change second was OK. Lobby is the best you can have from interior design, rooms are sooo crying for renovation.
rate is very high as compared to the services ??
Everything was perfect and as expected
the menu selection of the restaurant was small, but fine
This hotel in the Gracia section of Barcelona was an amazing find! At first they gave us the wrong kind of room and for the rest of our stay did EVERYTHING to make our stay fabulous! We had never been to Spain and they helped us get oriented, and because of their excellent location we were able to get everywhere we wanted to. JORGE, one of the managers was remarkably helpful and friendly and the rest of his staff were first rate!! If you want a relaxed stay in a busy city, CONFORTEL is for you!
Their underground parking was difficult but their staff immediately came down and parked our (large) rental for us. What a deal!!
Reasonably close to Sagrada Familia and quiet area. Also access to Parc Guell. Local restaurants in the area.
Price of parking.
Clean hotel and welcoming staff. The room was cleaned every day whilst we were out and New towels added to the room. Aircon was a well needed bonus in the height of summer!
Key didn't work very well to the room.
Wi Fi connections awesome. Breakfast was good and tasty
The hill going up to the Metro station
To be fair, I didn't see or utilise, for that matter much that the hotel had to offer, however I did call to say that I would be arriving late (midnight) as my flight wouldn't get in until that time and the staff could not have been more accommodating. It turned out that my flight was delayed by three hours so I got to the hotel at 3.30am. I was greeted by a friendly face and had a very comfortable stay. I left the next morning as I had friends to visit in Barcelona but I would very much recommend staying here, although not in the centre of the action, it certainly has a lot of charm, and for the price you can't go wrong.
The location is ok, we could walk to the the Metro or to Sagrada Familia.
Price of the breakfast was rudely expensive. We didn't like that we had to chose to either have one large bed and horible view to the back side or to have separated beds to have a view to the street. Internet was slow and we couldn't connect the first day at all.
Location was good, close to Sagrada Familia and walking distance to Guell Park. Metro station is also very close.
The room is very basic. It is clean, and it has basic things, but the only thing that separates this hotel from a good 3 star hotel is a big and beautiful lobby. And I don't care about that. Barely a 4 star hotel, but we had a pleasant stay.
Sophisticated and clean hotel close to the metro station Alfonso reception staff good service I liked keeping bags
It's not a 4 stars hotel. a very nice looking reception but rooms were ugly, lack of things in the room. They didn't clean the toilet, change towels or remove the service room trays with the things we ordered. Views to a very old ugly building with families doing landry, noisy as hell. The cleaning laidy got into the room early in the morning with no advice. super booked up parking (we had to wait 30 min to park even having pre-booked) and very dangerous by the way. I've been in cheaper and better places down town in BCN. definetely not worth it hotel.
all was pretty good; receptions speaks good english; late check-out is possible which is a good idea
the bed could be larger, double room looks more like single; sounds from another rooms were heard fully
No room service on weekends. Bar closed on weekends.
Front desk service
Cleaning room especially floor cant get wifi through mobile
Spacious and modern rooms. Location is reasonably good - 5 minutes walk from Sagrada Fimilia but hotel is on a realtively quiet street unlike some of the other hotels in the area. Staff very helpful
Didn't sample breakfast in the hotel seemed a little pricey - lots of small bars close by that do excellent coffee and pastries. Bathrooms have an ingredibly powerful shower but our ventilation did not work
Cheap and close to the place I had my business
Overall it is a lower quality of hotel. Wall of the room was so thin and you can hear loud conversation next door and in corridor. Staffs did their job but not that cheerful or friendly
They had their own bike rental. Don't use it! Bikes are awfull
Spacious room, cleanliness, bedding.
The bad smell sometimes in the room due probably cause of pipes, the cleaning staff being loud in the morning.
Beds were very small
Walking distance to Sagrada Familia and tour bus routes, 10 minute taxi to La Rambla.
Got directed from the airport to their sister hotel, arrived only to be told Bel Art is another 10 mins taxi away (another €10) Arrived at Bel Art after midnight and were given a twin room when I specifically booked a double. The twin room also smelt disgusting (like faeces/drain) so we slept with the bathroom door closed - called reception and were told they would swap rooms in the morning, but were unable to confirm it would be a double. We woke up the following morning and ordered 2 cappacionos - an hour later, nothing. I called reception to ask to speak to the manager and listed all the issues - the cappacionos were delivered 5 minutes later and we were given a double room. Not the best welcome to our first time in Barca, but glad the hotel made arrangements after all the hassle!
Administrator looks like Jeremy Clarkson and he is really funny :D
Very close to metro alfons x and a few minutes walk from sagrada familia .
The lobby looks very trendy and modern , rooms look a little old , there was a odd smell every time we enterd the room .
We stayed there a week. we could change our room, get different pillows, and leave our luggage there. Staff spoke English very well, nice and helpful. With the Airco, the rooms were warm quickly. Forget about the view, get a quiet room!
For the money you pay this is the best you can get. So no dislikes, we enjoyed our stay
Rich breakfast, low price (65 EUR/night), location, good bed.
Noise from corridor. Receptionist did not ask me about my room preference and told that they do not have more free rooms. There is no teapot in the room.
