Great location, very friendly and attentive staff, pool and garden very well maintained, we had a very relaxing holiday there and hope to be back next year.
Friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful gardens.
Hotel well situated, staff very helpful, more than happy to return for a further holiday.
Spacious room, friendly staff. 5 minutes walking to the beach. Bus stop is next to the entrance. Good quality for this price.
The lamps weren't bright and gave cold blue light, so the room looked a bit depressive in the evening. The elevator didn't work early in the morning (6.30 a.m.), and I didn't like going down from the 2nd floor with my bag.
Great staff made the effort to to make you feel welcome. Some didn't speak English but tryed to make communication which wa nice. The rooms where nice and clean. A nice out door area with pool was a nice touch to the hotel. Would I stay again? Yes I would
They could have do not disturb signs you could put on your room door. Was woke up by cleaners once or twice. As I wanted a lay in. But not a major problem!
general high standard through out the hotel. staff were very friendly and helpful. the cleanest hotel we ever stayed in.
lack of sound proofing led to very early morning wake up.
Carmen is fantastic an very helpful
A little noisy in the morning when rooms were cleaned
Nice pool and garden area, rooms with balcony, good wifi connection, bus stop right in front of the hotel and just a few minutes walking distance to the beach walk of La Carihuela.
The breakfast buffet: every day the same (small) selection of food, very bad coffee and juice. The presentation of the wasn't very nice, too.
Personal, Pool, Staying at the pool even after check-out
Excellent all round stay with amazing staff and owner Have stayed at other hotels in the area (mostly 4 stars)and this is our favourite
Staff were lovely . Hotel so clean lovely gardens and pool
Quite noisy on main road
The stAff were very friendly and rooms spotless. Lovely garden area to relax in with pool
Friendliest place, relaxed atmosphere, great location, beautiful gardens/pool area. Wine, beer, spirits & coffee unbelievably cheap & always served with a smile. Rooms basic but clean decor throughout and very well kept. Going again next year!
Great position, 2 minutes to the beach in the best part of Torremolinos. Benalmadena Marina and Plaza24h are 15 min. walking..and so is Toremolinos center. The bus stop for everywhere is just in front of the hotel. The hotel is very nice and clean ,tipical with big rooms and a quiet pool-garden.
gardens were lovely and the pool was a bonus. Attentive staff and very clean. Short walk to a lovely beach with a very Spanish atmosphere.
Beds were a bit too firm for us.
The Carmen Teresa was a nice hotel in a good location. We wanted to be close to the carihuela park and we were, also close to beach & restaurants etc. The reception was covered 24 hours a day so no problem coming back late. Room was basic but clean, beds not particularly comfortable but didn't cause too much of a problem. Didn't use the pool or gardens so can't comment but they looked nice.
The hotel was on a main road which was very busy during the day and fairly busy in the evening too. I wouldn't like to be crossing it with young children on a daily basis. Our room was at the front of the hotel which meant that we found it too noisy to sit on our balcony due to the rd. The pool area was small and there were not many sunbeds, this was no problem for us as we like the beach but it could prove problematic for pool lovers.
Hotel Carmen Teresa has a very friendly and pleasant staff, that will accomodate and realize all your needs. The hotel is in a very good place, with a bus stop just in front of it and the Carihuela beach just 200 m from it. I will definitely suggest it for a pleasant stay in Torremolinos
Friendly staff Quiet pool- sunny area Inexpensive bar Lovely large balcony with sun loungers
Clattering of water pipes in the morning No safe in bedroom No fridge
It has a very good value for the price. The beach is about a five minute walk. The supermarket is also near.
The biggest disadvantage was that our room was situated over the street and we couldn't sleep well beacuse of the noise. The breakfast was poor.
Nice clean room. Gardens are lovely. Staff are always attentive. Great location. Great value for money. Nice balcony on 1st floors, you need one.
Lack of self catering facilities, would be good if there was a fridge without having to pay for it & if there was cooking facilities etc.
Very close to beaches and town centre.
Breakfast was not so good. Everyday the same boring food. The beds were not cleaned every day, were the same as we left.
The garden area is very well maintained and nice to sit and relax in. There were ALWAYS sunbeds and chairs available to relax and unwind. A slight pity that the main round is directly outside though but if you have your earphones in, this shouldn't bother you. Homemade margaritas at 4euros are definitely worth trying! TIP: If you are there on a room only basis, try 'Shifters bar'. It is about 300metres away on the same road but on the opposite side. They do great british food and breakfasts - all at very good prices.
After arriving and a smooth check in, I had to move from my allocated room due to the stench coming from the drains/toilet in the bathroom. (I should add that the receptionist gave me a different room without quibbling). The furniture in the rooms is dated and due to the sparseness of the hallways, any noise echos around the entire floor. There is also NO safe in the room or a fridge either. The furniture in the restaurant area is also in need of an uplift to the 21st century as it is a mix of old wooden chairs and tables as well as different coloured leather sofas. To sum up, if the inside of the hotel was given as much attention and care as the garden, I would rate it a definite 3 or 3.5 star. As it is, I would struggle to give it a 2.5. A 2 star is about right.
Swimming Pool gave a quality back massage from the water jets. Nice and clean. Reception chap was very helpful.
The pool and garden was spotlessly clean. Fragrant flowers everywhere The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Bus stop outside the hotel and a supermarket within walking distance. Beach also a short stroll away. Spacious lounge indoors and out. Relaxing breakfast area.
Absolutely no complaints.
