Casa Fuster G.L Monumento    

The staff and facilities at Casa Fuster were amazing, we very much enjoyed our stay. It is a bit outside of the old city portion of Barcelona, but it is a lovely 15 minute walk past shops and Gaudi buildings so was not a problem.

the breakfast is being served at the basement floor. no light....i would recommended them to change it to the restaurant floor with the large windows

Location is almost perfect. A chance to live in a real peace of art!

Standart rooms are very small

Staff were perfect and very helpful booking everything for us, rooms were tidy and clean...

The rooftop terrace was closed and this was one of the only elelemnts of a hotel I was fixed on having when booking the hotel, it was a real let down to be told when arriving this was not open, espcially when I spent of £1000 on 3 nights

A beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Located 200m from Metro it is also away from the busier tourist spots.

A very welcoming hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable with a luxurious bed and bathroom, just what you need after a day of sightseeing.

The terrace on the roof was closed and we would have welcomed being able to get out there. Breakfast for two of us would have been £60 a day. We did want to get out into Barcelona as much as possible and found interesting altrnatives but it was not an option to have breakfast in the hotel. I realise it is a smart place though so it may be to be expected.

I enjoyed the design, and the friendliness of the staff. The location is great. An excellent hotel

Our room' with a view' was a bit noisy, the staff failed to clean our room one day.

Luxurious, full service hotel in a charming historic building. Close to the subway and major sights (notably Gaudi buildings) and walking distance to just about everything, but the location doesn't feel overly touristy. The staff is friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. A fabulous find!

There wasn't much not to like. The pool was under construction during our stay, but it is supposed to reopen later this year and the sauna was lovely.

We asked for a very quiet room,but the room we got was rather noisy by night

People were very friendly and helpful. The airline had lost our luggage and we do not speak good Spanish, the staff helped us find places to go to buy some clothes and toiletries. Assisted with directions and where to go . Facilities were great, rooms, restaurants, lounge were all very comfortable.

Good location along famous passage de gracia shopping street. Walking distance to famous Sagrada familiar cathedral and near La Rambla street. Extremely friendly receptionists. Doorman even knew our names when we arrived at the hotel and gave us a very warm welcome !

We stayed at the Casa Fuster for our honeymoon on December 2012. At our arrival, the hotel afford us an upgarde and provided us with a fifth floor very nice room. This was really appreciated. The service at the hotel is professional and very helpful. We tried twice the room service which was very good particularly the deserts. The hotel has a very good location to visit Barcelona and has a unique vue from the roof. We recommend this hotel to those who want to spend few days in the heart of Barcelona in luxury conditions. The room a bit too small for us, but hey, it did what it did

Completely impressed with the staff and their incredible level of helpfulness. The German/Spanish man who checked us in was amazingly knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and provided us with important key information and helped us set the direction and tone for the time we spent in Barcelona. He went way, way above our expectations. We also loved the Avante Guard furniture and stylings. The location was perfect and enjoyable. And the history of this hotel was very, very interesting. Everyone from the bellman to the housekeeping, were kind and gracious to us. The restaurant was gourmet and the morning breakfast buffet had more variety of foods than just about anywhere. Very good experience at Casa Fuster G.L. Monumento. We would highly, highly recommend your hotel to others.

Beautiful room, great location

The hotel offered a high level of comfort. Our room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with an amazing choice. We had dinner in the restaurant which was quite nice. The staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful...even after we had checked out , they still offered service later that day. I congratulate you all.

My only concern was that on Sunday night we had a very long wait for service in the bar lounge. There were many people and only a few staff. The staff members were under a lot of pressure.

Great hotel location and decor.

When asking for a taxi for 5 for the airport - had to chase porters 3 times and force them to sort it out - not what I expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff were too junior to deal with a small problem - disappointing!
