Located in Bilbao’s main business district, this contemporary hotel and spa is just a 5-minute walk from the instantly recognisable Guggenheim Museum.

The main feature of the Husa Jardines de Albia is its urban spa, where you can enjoy a relaxing session in the Turkish bath. You can then cool off in the jacuzzi or indoor pool. There are also a range of health and beauty treatments available.

Complementing its design and surroundings, the property also features a permanent exhibition of contemporary art. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy typical Basque cuisine – known as some of the most original in Spain.

The spacious and light Zuria restaurant serves both executive and tasting menus of traditional Basque cuisine. Menus change according to which local produce is in season.

The hotel is located next to the Albia gardens, from which it takes its name. Bilbao’s old town, congress centre and concert hall are all within 5 minutes of the hotel.

The hotel staff was very helpfull as well as skilled.

I loved the location of the hotel; closeness to the tramway, the Goggenheim, the old town as well as other attractions in the city is fantastic!

Breakfast and other food served at the bar can definitely be improved.

convenient location in nice part of town - walk to interesting areas & Guggenheim

Had to nag to get soft pillows instead of long, hard bolster type. Shower head not adjustable in height - and too high for me to reach easily.

Staff did not explain fully some queries - e.g. they led us to understand bus to Vitoria airport would go all way to airport and it didn't!!

Location was good - half way between Guggenheim/Bellas Artes Museums and Casco Viejo. Would have been quiet but for rowdy guests in the corridor in the middle of the night. Comfortable room. Good breakfast.
