Hostal Jayma  

I love this place. It's one of my two favorite hotels in southern Spain. Great proprietor....very helpful and patient. Super clean room.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. A clean comfortable room in the town centre, but fairly close to the beach. Salobrena is a good location to explore the Costa Tropical.

We chose this hotel as accommodation the night before our holiday apartment was available to us and found it to be just what we wanted. A nice clean well kept hotel with all the facilities we could want for an overnight stay. We will definitely consider Hostal Jayma if we are in the area again.

Staying here is like 'real' Spain, as opposed to the large resorts. The couple who own the hotel are delightful, very friendly and eager to be helpful, despite the language barrier (our Spanish is non-existent and the phrase book was less useful than we had hoped!) As to be expected from a 2* hostal (as opposed to an hotel) the room itself was basic but well-decorated, with furniture that matched, air conditioning (essential) and wonderful free wifi connection (better than our home internet!). The bathroom was actually better than in some 4* hotels we've stayed in, and everything was absolutely spotlessly clean. The public areas also were well decorated and kept, and there is a nice rooftop terraced area with tables, chairs, loungers and shades. We had a hire car and always managed to park somewhere in the street outside. Location- wise: handy for the hill leading up to the castle (very steep climb!) and a couple of restaurants, and a 20 minute saunter to the beach - on the flat, thank goodness. Well-placed for virtually everything, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. If we visit this part of Spain again, will definitely stay here. Highly recommended.

Well signposted, convenient location for Castle and town. Very welcoming host with useful information about restaurants and where to visit. Room well presented and equipped.

He pasado la Semana Santa en dicho hostal con mis hijos y me ha parecido maravilloso.La familia que lo lleva es encantadora, amables cordiales y su trato muy familiar. El Hostal es super acogedor, limpieza máxima y muy bonito y confortable. Bastante bien situado, pues está en todo el casco histórico del pueblo. Mi calificación es de un 10 (mas) para Javier y Manuela, sus propietarios.

El hostal Jayma, es con diferencia de lo mejor que hemos estado alojados en muchisimo tiempo,sobre todo el trato amable y señorial de sus propietarios, excelentes personas y de una amabilidad increible.

La amabilidad y carigno con el que fuimos acogidos por esta maravillosa familia, nos hizo sentir en nuestra casa. Manuela junto a su esposo nos colmaron de atenciones. Un lugar al que con mi esposa recomendamos ampliamente. Costantino y Cecilia

L'eccezionale disponibilità di Javier, il titolare; ottimi I suoi consigli e le dritte per mangiare e per le visite nelle cittadine limitrofe. Ottima pulizia e cura nell'arredamento.

La pecca principale è la scarza insonorizzazione della camera nella quale abbiamo soggiornato: fra camera e camera ed anche verso l'esterno. Piccola miglioria sarebbe predisporre maggiori arredi per l'appoggio di valigie ed indumenti.

Me ha gustado el trato amable y familiar que te ofrece su propietario y la limpieza y el mantenimiento de la habitaciòn.
