location, right in the heart o the old town
no taxi's allowed into old town, no lift in hotel, no help with suitcase up the stairs, very small bathroom, no soap, needs net curtains as the house opposite can see into the room, bathroom needs a really good clean and new towels, very noisey, staff not helpful, safe didn't work and doors to balcony didn't lock !
Amazing Location, just in the middle of the city centre, with all shops and restaurant on the same street.
Rooms are a bit small (a least the 2 where we have been)
Lovely central location in the old town. Reasonably priced.
Location was excellent, very close to tapas bars. Friendly staff, although minimal English. Good air-con.
Decor is very tired, needs to be modernised. Bathroom was tiny, barely enough room to move around so not very comfortable. No bath, no toiletries either. Over-priced for standard of accommodation.
The hotel has a perfect location in the Old Town of Marbella with charming houses and very nice restaurants. The price for the value is unbeatable. Even though the accomodation is quite basic, it has most things that make you feel comfortable. The room is very clean - tiled floors, new bathroom facilities, i think it was rennovated recently. My room had a balcony with flowers so I had a perfect view from the window.
Great location in the old town, very close to Orange Square. Staff very helpful, ideal location.
The hotel is rather plain and small but very clean. There are nice floor to walk barefoot (it was cold to do it sometimes though), walls painted in wight. The hotel is in the upper part of the Old Town, i.e. all cafes and noise are at the distance (not far to walk to but the best location not to hear them (not at all though)). There are cafe and market next to the hotel (cafe - ~2 m, market - ~5 m). The cafe (it's cheap) opens at 10 a.m. (as all cafe in Old Town), we had our breakfasts in cafes near the beach (The Broadwalk cafe has wonderful view, and you should try smth in Da Bruno sul mare). Well... about the hotel :) Rooms 201, 301... are near the stairs and you would hear noisy return of drunk guests, the room 305 has a little balcony (to the street, to cafe >__>) and is smaller than 301. Nights are very good and not stuffy (last days of june). I didn't use air conditioner at night at all, only open window. There is very long beach line, the place to the west is more... posh, but I like the beach "under" the hotel most of all.
Threshold of audibility is low. I think all buildings of the Old Town are like this and I don't think it's the big problem because the Old Town is worth it, there are very very cute views and particular atmosphere.
The location is amazing and in a beautiful part of the old town just a minutes walk from Marbella port. It is very reasonably priced especially during the summer monthes. there is wifi available in all the rooms and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Very clean and well kept.
Location in old town Marbella was brilliant. Full of character and charm. Very close to traditional bars/restaurants and shopping. 5-10 minute walk to beach. Lovely view from room (203) Staff very friendly and helpful.
Due to location its a bit noisy at night time- but we didn't mind. Rooms at back of hotel probably quieter but not the same view. Staff don't speak but then we don't speak Spanish!
Requested room to rear of hotel got room to front. Requested double bed got a single bed
Very friendly staff & very good value for money
Nice and queit area. Good price. Nice and clean all the time. I'd lovely 3 nights...
The staff were very freindly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and clean, although the glass ledge in the bathroom wasn't cleaned throughout our stay. It is in an excellent location and reasonably priced. I would definately recommend it and would stay there again.
Unfortunately no one spoke English, although a lady from the bar next door was always willing to translate. This is not a fault on their behalf, but many British people can be put off by the providers not being able to communicate in their language.
Great small hotel. Location in old town is superb. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Bedroom was quite large, very clean and had everything we needed. Great value for money. Would definitely return.
Bedrooms on the front of hotel can get street noise.
Was noisy and the sheets on our beds were full of previous guests hair :(
Great little hotel in the centre of Marbella's old town. Incredible value for money. Would definately stay here again.
the room was spotless and bed comfortable. balcony was lovely.
Location, staff were brilliant, cleanliness excellent.
Location, reception was very warm and friendly, not too noisy, very clean and easy to get to.
The staff was very friendly, the location is very good , wifi was quick. The best budget hogel if u need the essentials things
A bit noisy in tge evening
The fact that you had to ring the bell to get in and get your room key each time, day or night
The location was excellent set in a picturesque street with cute little cafe's. 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops.
Having taken our 3 year old there wasn't much for her to do however, for couples and singles wanting a basic place to stay it's fantastic.
location an price
the rooms are small. everything was ok
Friendly staff and a fab location in the old town.
The first room we were first shown was small and had an awful smell. Asked for another room which was much better.
