Lovely pool Good location Price Good size room
Broken shower No plug socket in room, only 1 in bathroom. Wifi rarely worked
Swimming pool for cooling off in the granada heat.
Rude staff. Thin walls. Cigarette smoke coming in through the air con either from the room next door or staff smoking next to the inlet.
We received friendly service throughout our stay and were made to feel really at home. The room were large and spacious and well air conditioned. Although the bathroom was a little tired in places the shower and facilities were good. The swimming pool area, bar and access to a balcony from our room made the stay a real success.
The local breakfast produce was delicious but what a shame the coffee was Nescafe from a machine! It was quite noisy first thing in the morning.
Balcony provides a panoramic view of the city and the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is also a beautiful hotel.
The hotel was initially a bit hard to find (hilly and narrow "one-way" streets). Many thanks to the Local Police who escorted our rental car to the hotel..
Everything. Breakfast very good. Hotel booked Alhambra tickets for us. Pool lovely with area for drinks.
Having to pay for car parking but this seems to be very normal in Spain as opposed to France or Italy.
Great position, easy to walk into centre, lovely swimming pool.
Hand held shower over bath
It is a very good hotel. Personnel, price, rooms, wi-fi, hygiene are perfect. Personnel are very helpful and they can arrange Al-Hambra tickets for you when you are not able to do so by yourselves.
The swimming pool. They don't run the water circulation system of the pool. Seing the hotel pictures with people enjoying the swimming pool may be disappointed when they stay at the hotel.
Good parking, good location 15 min walk to Alhambra or 15 mins to Cathedral. plenty of restaurants nearby. Nice view to the snow covered mountains. Room had fridge and nice toiletries. Nice breakfast.
Centrally located for Alhambra
Hard to find. 20 min walk to restaurants.
Lovely pool area, and pool bar staff very nice and helpful. Nice balcony but not much view as the walls were to high to see over when seated.
Staff on reception not very friendly. Air con in room not very effective.
Excellent hotel and great location to visit Granada center and La Alhambra! Staff really nice and friendly!
location and balcony
Staff where rude and tried to take advantage of us being tourists. There is no spa only a pool that is not well cleaned. Parking is charged 16 euros per day.
Location, service and facilities available
good price and the outlook of the hotel is very nice.
Piano playing in morning.
Staff could have been more friendly.
The room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Free wifi was available.
The old reception staff wasn't very nice, made me feel like I have done some wrong. Bad sound proof, you can hear people at the corridor talking. Not close to any shops or restaurant. Took us 20-25 mins walk uphill to Alhambra, u could take minibus instead.
Nice pool, very big rooms, nice balcony with beautiful view
The on site spa was good especially as we had a rainy day although trying to book was a bit tortuous and you cannot just turn up during opening hours; which are also a little odd. We loved the on site snack bar which had good value food and drink with great service. Reception was ok although they didn't go the extra mile. The external pool is not heated so you have to screw up your courage (and that's just for the girls) before you go in....
We had lunch in the main restaurant on our first day; it was a set menu with three courses (which we didn't want but were charged for anyway) and while it was ok it wasn't of the standard you would expect for the prices being charged (my salad mainly consisted of iceburg lettuce with some tinned sweetcorn, tinned olives and a few small tomatoes). Trust me go to the snackbar as it's far better value
Friendly and helpful staff especially at reception
We had a room at the rear of the hotel next to the lift :-(
Wonderful views from the balcony to the snow covered mountains.
The road outside was quite noisy but staying in a city hotel I should not have been surprised. Convenient access to the centre more than made up for the noise.
The breakfast is not good. The walls are very very thin, so you can hear everybody in this hotel. Not good for light sleepers!!
Nothing! Nada! Nichts! Hic Birsey!
it was more a hostel for me instead of a 4 star hotel!the room was stinking very fishy that we could not sleep in there. they mentioned that they have parking space available. when i arrived there were no any space to park my car, so i had to drive exactly 2 hours to find one (even the parking decks were occupied). when I arrived in my room i decided to call the reception because of the massive smell! first they said that they dont have any rooms. while contuning the concversation very rude the recepteniost offered us another room. when i was picking up the key for the room, suddenly he had 3 different rooms to offer, so he was lying on the phone. the other room was not stinking but very noisy instead. thin walls and no window!!!never ever again!
Pleasant open atmosphere - balcony overlooking the Sierra Nevada mountains; availability of cafeteria. Pleasant surroundings in cafeteria
Too many school parties - which tended to be noisy in the rooms which were not soundproofed and at breakfast.
