Excellent room201with lovely terrace, sun beds nice view.restaurant food good.all the staff were very freindly and helpful.Nice clean pool with sunbeds.
Not near beach if you had children.
The facilities, food and staff were all good. Nice location, far from the madding crowd of downtown Nerja.
During our seven day stay in the 3 bedroom apartment we didn't receive a change of towels or bedlinen. In spite of this we would still return to Los Arcos.
Staff Cleanliness Peace and quiet
Steep hill to and from the beach 20 minute walk to Balcon de Europa
Good hotel. We've got a room with a quite big balcony with picturesque view to the town and sea. Hotel have a small swimming pool, which help you in case of cold sea water. They have their own free parking for 5-6 cars. If it is full you may park your car at the nearest streets for free. Big supermarket near the hotel.
Quite long from the sea and very far from city center. I do not recommend this hotel to the people who don't like to have long walking trips. But for us it was not problem. Breakfast could be better.
The hotel has a lovely pool area with comfortable sunbeds and sunshades. It was never crowded and I could swim at any time, often alone in the pool. The rooms are lovely - comfortable bed, excellent shower, good TV (we were able to watch BBC Wimbledon!), a little fridge and a kettle so you can have drinks in the room. Immaculately clean. We enjoyed the breakfast - it was the same every day but that was fine - fruit, cereal, juice, pancakes, cheese, ham, tomatoes and bacon/eggs etc. Happy hour in the bar had been extended from 5-9 p.m. and so a couple of drinks with a tapa or two was a good alternative to the rather long walk to some of the nicer (i.e. less touristy) restaurants in Nerja. The hotel is on the main N340 road but was still remarkably quiet at night, and it was quite near the Nerja caves (walkable if you feel energetic and it's not too hot). We liked the hotel so much we went back at the end of our holiday after a week in the mountains.
Wi-Fi was available in the bar area but not, as advertised, in the rooms or by the pool. Not a major thing, but it is stated in all the hotel publicity that this is available.
we had the 3 bed apartment. right by the pool. independent but with hotel facilities
Had a very loud buzzing noise in room whole night. Couldn't sleep.
Good clean hotel with a nice pool. Excellent staff. A good atmosphere and not crowded. A really nice restaurant attached to the hotel, with a good selection of meals. I thought a nice touch was the option of smaller meals at a reduced rate.
The cooked breakfast food could have done with being hotter.
We were really happy about our stay at Los Arcos. The facility was great with a pool, bar, breakfast, restaurant, etc. We liked that we had a mini-fridge, balcony, and many other small conveniences that made our stay very enjoyable.
The walk from the hotel to the main part of the town took about 20 minutes. We don't mind walking, but for those who do, this may be a bit of a hike for you.
Friendly staff, beautiful pool area, brilliant brasserie, happy hour (4 hrs) free parking, easy to find, 20 minute walk to town, beside a good supermarket
Breakfast very tired and needs improvement, wifi only works near reception
Room and common spaces very clean. Room absolutely as described in the web site. Swimming pool towels provided. Big balcony with small table and a couple of chairs.
Small private car park. Not easy to find a free bay, however it is safe and common practice to park along the kerb in the street next to the hotel.
Lovely spacious apartment with good quality furnishings. Private terrace with table chairs and 2 sunbeds.Large fridge freezer washing machine tumble drier and dish washer.Nice pool.
Top of the hill.Fine going down but a bit of a treck back up.There is a local bus but it stops about 8pm.Plenty taxis though.
Lovely area around swimming pool, nice accomodation represents good value for money. Would use again.
Slightly out of the main area, just off a main road, neither detracted from our stay.
We usually stay in big named hotels but decided to go smaller family run type, we were not disappointed, Los Arcos was just as we had imagined, would certainly return
nice quiet place nice staff outside bar/cafe area
long walk back from the centre uphill
Comfortable and good size bedroon with nice balcony. Very good restaurant on site had lovely meal there one of the nights.
Toilet too near bathroom door not much room at basin area considering the size of the shower. Outdoor seating area at the front of the hotel very near to main road eg. traffic, noise, and fumes. Breakfast not great 'hot' food cold most mornings, breakfast area needs to be freshned up maybe fresh paint light furniture would make it more appealing.
Lovely helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Great apartment. Really nice pool. Will definitely return.
We had the three bedroomed apartment which wasn't cleaned during our stay. Not a big deal but would have been appreciated.
Very friendly hotel, with excellent staff, well kept pool and inexpensive dining. The location was great for us being near our friends. It is a 15-20 min walk into the Centre of town though.
Home from home. Staff we're lovely. The apartment has everything a family would need for a holiday. Only €7 to town centre.
An excellent restaurant and very friendly staff
The rooms in the main building of the hotel were excellent. As good as any 4* hotel I have stayed in, if not better. The staff were all friendly and they worked very hard. The restaurant in the hotel serves exceptional food at very reasonable prices. Then there was the happy hour where you got 2 for 1 drinks and it lasted for 4 hours, 1700hrs to 2100hrs. Finally the location is very good as it is a pleasant walk down to the town/village.
The rooms in the older part of the hotel, away from the main building, were poor. They where not modern and the furnishings inside where old. The breakfast was as good as any I have had in bigger hotels but the area where it was placed in the bar area was to small but manageable.
This is a lovely little hotel, with its own pool, bar and restaurant. The room we had was a delux double and was really nice and big with a comfortable bed. We had a baby with us and the hotel provided a nice clean travel cot in the room for us free of charge. The hotel staff could not be more helpful or friendly, they are a credit to the hotel. The rooms and public areas are also spotless. The breakfast was also great, something for everyone and always good quality. We thought this hotel was good value for money.
The only down side of the hotel is that is is a bit of a walk to the beach (about 10 -15 mins) and the town centre (about 20 mins). And all up hill on the way back, But we knew this when we booked and were happy to walk. So bear this in mind.
We were having five nights in Nerja, and travelling around the coast and inland. The location of Los Arcos is ideal, being only a short walk to the beach, the centre and nice walking area around the environs. The welcome on arrival was very welcoming and our room was clean, and the balcony was spacious. We had gourmet tapas in the restaurant on two nights which were wonderful and very good value. Breakfast was adequate in the mornings, and was very informal and relaxed. We will use the Los Arcos again, definitely, when we return to southern spain as we would like to explore more of the region in the future!
Nothing really; if you are looking for value for money this small hotel is the place to stay.
small but friendly, good breakfast, excellent pool and restaurant. easy walking to town.
Nice room, nice pool (didn't use it but looked nice), nice shower, very comfortable bed with nice pillows. Decent breakfast. Free parking (I much prefer to park and walk for 10mins than try to find a space in the old town).
TV didn't work but if I had bothered to ask I suppose they would have fixed it. I thought breakfast was ok, but I'm not really a fan of the continental breakfast anyway, much prefer a Spanish breakfast in a cafeteria. Some people have complained about the distance but I quite like to walk from place to place, it's probably about 20mins on foot to the center of the old town.
