In central Granada, 1.5 miles from its train station, Hotel Inglaterra features a traditional Andalusian courtyard with a shared sitting area.
Score from 865 reviews Very good
Located 1300 ft from Granada Train Station, this modern hotel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Each air-conditioned room has wonderful views of the city or the Alhambra Palace.
Score from 1313 reviews Good
Carlos V hotel is in the historic center of Granada, only a 2-minute walk of the popular tapas bars of Navas Street and a quarter mile from the cathedral.
Score from 1317 reviews Very good
This differently unique hotel is conveniently located in the commercial and social center of Granada next to the cathedral; the very building the hotel occupies is brimming with Andalusian character.
Score from 416 reviews Good
Overpriced for the facilities offered
Location, room size and layout (ours was a little kooky), views, friendly staff, cafeteria, free wifi, info and facilities available.
Our room was freezing (the air con was broken) and the radiator supplied was not very effective. The only other gripe I had was the noise from outside but that isnt something the hotel can control!
Nothing comes to mind
The noise from the street outside was intolerable especially at night from drunks and excessive traffic. Couldn't sleep at all first night. Breakfast Continental very inadequate - no service. Would Never recommend this to anyone as Hotel to stay at ( more a badly run Hostel ).Washing facilities awful. My friend and I were very angry at cost considering bad state. Never again!
everything is good
the breakfast was poor, and the terrace is open from 3 pm.
Nothing couldnt wait to leave and stuck there because hotel took my money in advance
Stay away-awful place. Hotel demanded payment of five nights in advance, no refunds. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. After five nights without sleep I was ill. The square across the road was full of drunk people shouting and playing loud music until 6 am for the first two nights. The fittings were shabby and run down and the place was not worth the 85 euros I paid per night. At the counter were a succession of people asking to change rooms due to the noise at the front of the hotel.
Not far from bars & tavernas, walkable from centre. Carpark close by (almost opposite), street parking possible if lucky. Easier to get to from North/West side as all Granada roads are one-way & usually in the wrong way! Get a street map from Tourist Information! Great coffee at the hotels little cafe
Street noise. Basic accommodation but good enough value for the price & location
Love everything about this hotel. 2nd time here and will return. Have already passed on to family and friends.
Really good price and great location
Under the window was a bar and people shouting till 6 a clock morning. We didnt get any sleep both nites.
Staff was very nice
The balcony door was broken and there was bad smell from the bathroom. The single room was very small and the facilities not renewed.
Price, location, WiFi strength
Size of bed
It feels like the hotel is located in a very nice area, I stayed there for 1 night only and can't tell many details. A taxi to Alhambra cost us around 8 euros. The room was big enough, big bathroom too.
It was unexpected to find a balcony in a bathroom. What was even more unexpected is to find another house 15 meters away, so you could see everything what the locals did (and on the contrary). Though the balcony door glass was quite kind of dim, I didn't feel comfortable when in a bathroom.
The room is big, near to the centre
A big room is of no use if you can't sleep. You can hear every noise from the bar on the 5th floor and from the road. The noise from outside went on until 6.30 AM. The bed was uncomfortable. Wi-Fi was too weak to function. Water leaked from the bathtub. No hairdrier in the room (need to ask at the reception).
Small and poky room
The upper terrace has a nice view of the town
Breakfast was very poor. Room was so tiny that there was hardly any space to walk between the bed and walls. No daylight at all. Wi-Fi worked only in bathroom.
A good terrace on the 5th floor, but only serves tapas from 7 or 8pm.
There is virtually no noise cancellation between rooms, the beds are rock hard and single even when ordered as "one double bed". Parking is only offered when you stay more than 1 night.
Just in the city centre. 15 minutes walk to AlHambra entry. Fair breakfast for 4 Euro. Private parking just 100m away. Good choice for 1..2 nights if you just want to have a look at AlHambra and the old town.
I liked the location of this hotel. Pretty central. Busy local area. The hotel staff were really helpful. They were happy to speak English And I felt ashamed not to speak any Spanish!
There was nothing to dislike.
Localization is good, personnel who recommend some nice places to go. Really good cantine where you can have tasty and cheap breakfast.
We ordered 2 bed room, got 1 bed. We asked for a change of the room - we got a 4 bed room, unfortunatelly as noce and renovated as we booked online... In the new room smelled badly from the bathroom so we asked for a change again. Felt quite disappointed as we didnt get the standard we booked online.
Our room faced a dark inner wall and friends in room 107 said street noise and a discotheque kept them awake until 6:00am. Breakfast was disappointing... Beverages were OK but cereals and juices were very poor quality. Service was slow and the staff kept forgetting our requests for things like plates and clean knives.
outstanding roof bar with an incredible view on the sunset. Excellent choice of cocktails and gin & tonics, to choose your own unique combination of gin tonic.
small bed in a very small room
Location, sangria at the top of hotel terrace
Poor breakfast, bed sheets with hairs, old furniture (second floor), small rooms (second floor), long uncomfy pillows
Couldnt sleep because of the noise, both inside and outside the hotel...
Staff was very helpful, especially David.
It was a walk to buses to see the sites, especially the Alhambra and the Miradores. There is a bar on fifth floor, so we had some partiers walk by in the early a.m. hours.
Everything especially the staff
Could have better internet connection and a better choice of breakfast
