Score from 1402 reviews Excellent
Modern and clean with great breakfast.
Booked specifically for pool which unfortunately was under construction.
Room was attractive, as was lobby, but absolutely everything else was terrible.
Completely dishonest and misleading. We booked this inconveniently located and overpriced hotel only for the pool and fitness center for the kids only to find out the day before that they were "broken" or unavailable. We were unable to cancel our non-refundable room but told a nearby pool was available. It was a $10+ cab ride back and forth across town! There was literally no staff anywhere. Dirty towels were left in bathroom in a lump. It took two hours to get clean glasses for the room (dirty were left there) and then only by going to the bar to take them. Completely disgusted with the management of this hotel and would never stay again.
The room and breakfast are really good!
Almost everything about this hotel is excellent, and have stayed here many times due to its fantastic location, competent staff, comfort of the rooms and value for money.
The pool is unfortunately out of action still, I went in September and it wasn't working then, it would've good for them to fix this on going problem soon, as it is such a wonderful area.
Having parking was extremely useful. Great position to see all the sites and also to leave Saville by car.
Big screen TV was a great idea for the World Cup-thank you but did it have to have all those black lines over it?
Comfortable bedroom and bathroom
No gym Include a kettle and iron in the room as standard
Extremely helpful young people at the reception desk, modern amenities in our room, & the excellent location of the hotel. We walked everywhere.
Close to transport and tourist sights
Rather old and jaded. Buffet breakfast is of below average quality and staff was inattentive.
Hotel was spotlessly clean, our bedroom was extremely comfortable and we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay at this hotel again. On site parking was expensive but not much different from public parking in the city so worth the convenience of being able to have our car at the hotel for our entire stay.
Although it was early June the swimming pool was still not functioning although it was being filled during our stay so maybe we were a few days too early!
The staff and rooms
Even though it was one of the hottest springs on record the swimming pool was closed
Location very near center but not in the center. Could do by foot or by taxi (always available at hotel entrance) for a few euros. Nice room. Absolutely great breakfast !
Swimming pool (temporary) under rework and not available while we were there
Swim pool closed although they said it was open...better to be honest with customer
Clean and modern facilities. Comfortable parking under the building though a bit expensive.
The bathroom was small, one could not move comfortably. Location is a bit away from the center.
Room design is good and comfortable. The view out of the window is fantastic.
Small details of the room are not perfect.
Pool was under construction and there was no gym
Perfect location to stay and close to the main attractions of the city.
The modern design of the room. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable.
The location is not near Santa Cruz where most places of interest are. Be prepared to send a little more on taxi.
The upgrade to a room with a terrace, the very helpful check in lady, the reasonably priced drinks
The external appearance
Inside it was very nice, nice room with a terras. Excellent breakfast.
Needs some paint on the outside Expensive wifi 14€ a day
Walking distance to city; good tavern (Baco) around corner; breakfast was fine.
Restaurant and coffee bar expensive and therefore not used.
Having previously stayed here I was impressed with the selection of foods for breakfast. However on this visit whilst the selection on fruit and cold meats was good, the selection for hot food was terrible and what was on offer was inedible.
Best bed we have ever slept in...so big and very comfortable
Exterior of the hotel looks a little tired but its an excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff
Bedroom with terrace superb.
Wet sun loungers covers in pool area.
Location is excellent. Staff were helpful.
Swimming pool closed for refurbishment although we were assured three weeks prior that it would be open. It is not going to be open for some time, as there was construction work going on in the pool during our stay, and the staff must have known this. Reception understaffed. Always a big queue and a twenty minute wait for the smallest request. Weak showers.
