Very comfortable rooms but expected that for the price. Business hotel mainly with conference centre. We got the tram downtown as a bit of a walk to get to the centre if hot. Has a lovely pool with bar.

Did not eat there as too expensive.Had stayed in Seville in Santa Cruz district in budget hotel earlier this year which I think I preferred for half the price.

As an international hotel I felt that the quality of the staff was not at the level I expected. I have stayed at other Melia hotels and the quality of staff here was no where near as good.

We took advantage of a special offer which gave us four star luxury at two/three star prices. We only had breakfast there once because at 21 euros per head it was not worth it. But a very nice cafe up the road charged us 4 euros a head and it was nice to mix with ordinary Spanish people.

The position was not near the main tourist sites; but there was a tram and a taxi rank just out side the hotel. So it was not too much of a problem.

A lovely room with a kingsize bed, which turned out to be very comfortable. It was very modern with a nice chair for relaxing with a hassock, a glass desk, a glass table and a glass table attached to the wall across from the bed. There was a flat screen tv, a safe, and a minibar. The bathroom was particularly nice with a tub and shower separated by glass, a rain shower and two sinks with floors of marble. The view from the 10th floor was nice but not spectacular but that might be only on that side of the hotel. The lobby is large and spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast one morning and it was a large buffet with eggs and warm side dishes, cold cereals, fabulous fresh fruit table and a mountain of breads, croissants, etc. The large variety of cold meats and cheeses were delicious. Very impressive breakfast for 13 euros /person (at least for us, but may change depending on the package).

The Otis elevators from the lobby are small, only 4 people can fit into one. They seem to shake a lot on and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Beware, if there is a big tour bus of people coming to register at the same time as you, it is chaos for the 2-3 people handling checkin. Not only do you have to wait for these people to checkin but it takes a long long time to get up the elevators. We had the hotel staff take our luggage up to our room and he went to the service elevator and basically had to just wait for us to get and elevator up to the room. It actually would have made more sense to go with our luggage in the service elevator with the bellboy rather than have him wait for us and for us to wait in the lobby. Oh well. We had an adjoining door to another room in our room and the neighbors had a baby and we could hear all noise, especially the baby crying, from their room. Wifi was free in the lobby and good but the room wifi costs about 12 euros per 24 hour period. Wifi reception was good.

It was a beautiful hotel. We upgraded to a suite at a significant increase, at the hotel's suggestion, which was fine. It included 24 hr Internet and daily breakfast, which was pretty expensive but extensive and delicious. Room was very nice, bathroom was gorgeous. Fairly convenient to city attractions.

Expensive. We stayed during Christmas, staff said nothing was open outside of the hotel, which was not true, staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about city. Waited a long time at taxi stand, had to ask staff to call a taxi and they initially didn't want to but did after we waited for more than 20 minutes.

The fitness centre is well equiped. However, it opens only from 10am. This is the first hotel which I stayed where the fitness centre opens at such late hour. Normally, hotel guests would want to use the fitness facilities before they begin the day! And to this hotel, their day only begin at 10am????

Fitness centre operating hour is ridiculous! Rooms are not properly cleaned too. The room which I stayed, the air-conditioner was blowing cold air despite outside temperature at around 15 degree C. We feel warmer with the air-con off than on!

Attitude to oriental people

Luxurious room, large screen tv, huge double bed. Bar serves some mean gin and tonics and other drinks for a reasonable price. Staff moderately helpful, but with an attitude.

Indoor parking way too expensive (€22/day), but it is possible to park on the street around the hotel. Buffet breakfast was expensive (€19), so we passed on it. When we checked in, the minibar had an open bottle (lack of control?), but it was replaced by the reception and not charged. The triple room consisted of a double room with an ugly extra bed in the hallway.

Excellent room design. Comfortable furniture and bed, bathroom fantastic. Good location walkable to most city attractions,

Location of hotel was walking distance to all attractions.Hotel clean and modern,with great service in the level.

Excellent hotel opposite the Europa Plaza and park, very close to tram stop and airport bus. Staff helpful aBreakfast good although waiters need to be far more helpful and I didn't see one smile. Pool area excellent. Bedrooms verygood and the adition of a balcony a bonus.Would recommend this hotel for weekend break.
