lack of parking
Loved the location. Easy to find. Easy to get to the Alhambra. Close to shops and tapas bars. Great Flamenco next door
Wifi was only free for 30 minutes. Not advertised that way. The fridge didn't work at all. On arrival, the man was abrupt and I had to drag information out of him. The cupboard doors wouldn't close. However, the room and servicing were fine.
Location was fantastic Cafe underneath was good Staff very helpful
Parking was far too expensive Car parking was difficult to manoevre
The location is simply perfect, close to every important touristic place, and a great choice of bars and restaurants around. Rooms with balcony have a great view but are a bit noisy. The bar next to the hotel has very low prices (only 2 euros) for a good breakfast and the guys are very kind.
Unfortunately we had to face several problems that were never solved. First, we didn't get the room for 4 people that we booked. They just decided, without notice, to give us 2 double rooms, something quiet annoying and inconvenient if you are travelling with young children. Worst of all, the lady (Jaqueline) in the reception not only never solved the problem, but said was our fault because we didn't say that we were travelling with children; and also said that was a problem of Booking. com that probably did 2 bookings simultaneously for the same room. The parking is extremely expensive, 20 euros per day, when our friends staying in different hotels paid only 12 euros a day. Narrow parking spaces, even for small cars. The last day we ask if we could leave our car in the parking for a couple of hours after the check-out, and the guy in the reception said was not problem at all. Next day, suddenly after the check-out we had to change our plans and rushed to look for a place to park the car and don't lose the tickets for the Alhambra, because Jaqueline (again) said was impossible to stay longer...and was her colleague's fault who didn't know that the parking was already booked for other guests. Then one room with a trickle of water from the shower, in the other room the hair dryer fell off the wall, and both rooms seemed to have been cleaned loooong time ago. Things I even didn't bother to mention...
light level in room
Excellent location and we got a quiet room. The room had a mini fridge. Friendly staff.
