Senator Gran Vía 70 Spa Hotel  

The location is in the centre of the city. Big room, good view from window. Good value for money.

Very comfortable, airy rooms. great location

Not what I expected of a four star hotel. Very basic to the point of being souless almost hostel like. Boasted oh having satellite tv. Useless for guests who's only language was English. No possibility of buying a film to watch which is standard in other four star hotel. I only had two pillows which were not exactly comfortable. This hotel not vale for money for a solo traveller

Excellent location

Not a 4 star hotel by my standards , bit old and shabby

Very good location, just steps from the excellent Madrid metro. Our room was to the front facing the Grand Via, but with double paned windows there was no noise from the street. During the check-in the desk clerk was not particularly welcoming. The room has a security safe but did not work when a four didget pin code was entered per the instructions. When the front desk was called, the clerk with an agitated voice said if four digets didn't work, try six. That worked. We did not try the 14.50 Euro buffet brekfast at the hotel, but across the street is a VIPS restaurant where you can get a good English breakfast for 7.50 Euros.

Excelent staff ,clean, location I realy recommend this hotel

There is one issue that the a/c in my room is hot, I didn't sleep well in the most of nights. Others are excelent

The location provided good access to the numerous plazas around Madrid

The promotoional photographs on the web do not depict accurately what is available when you arrive. None of the roof top facilities were available despite the good weather and other roof top terrces being used. I have stopped at many booking.com referenced hotels and this is the only one that appears to be over sold and under delivers

Location. Perfectly located - a walk distance for virtually any sights you might want to see.

The rooms were pritty small given the reviews I read before the booking. The stuff didn't read my reservation until I got to the hotel /althogh they manage to fulful my preferences/.

Great location, nice hotel, good price

No instructions for the safe. Not enough tea bags or milk in the room to make cups of tea!

This hotel was excellent. The staff were always very polite and helpful. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean with a massive bathroom and they had a lot of little extras like a cd player and a complimentary mini bar, i thought this was a lovely touch. Senator Gran Via is about 50 - 100 metres from Plaza del Espagna metro station. This was really handy as this metro line linked to the airport line and our journey from hotel to the airport was only about 25 minutes altogether. There are city bus tours from practically right outside the door and Plaza del Sol is only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Super!
