The Hotel is situated in Gran Vía street in the heart of Madrid , the main commercial and entertainment artery of our country, just a few meters away from the principal tourist points of the city, for which you can accede on foot to the most important areas and cultural monuments as there is “La Puerta del Sol”, the Royal Palace and the area of the theatres. You will find the subway and public buses at the entrance of the hotel.

This historical building with its charming indoor yard, refurbished in 2002, offers to business or leisure travellers all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay.

Food & beverage

The breakfast buffet is served Monday to Friday from 07:00-10:30 and on weekends from 07:30-11:00. For departures before 07:00, we offer an early coffee service (on request at reception) from 05:30 which includes coffee, milk, tea and one pastry.

Our restaurant offers an ample à la carte Mediterranean menu and a cheap daily menu at lunchtime with Oriental touches. There is a 10% discount for guests on our à la carte dinner menu. Lunch is served from 13:30 to 15:30 and dinner from 20:00 until 23:00.

In our Cafe San Luis, a traditional cafe in Madrid situated on Gran Vía, you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine from 08:00 until 24:00. At weekends it is open from 09:00 until 01:00.

If you require a special menu for your meetings or celebrations, the hotel can arrange this for you.

These soundproofed rooms have either twin beds or a double bed. In addition to the listed amenities all rooms have a free minibar, TV with 35 channels, adjustable reading lamps, Nordic beds and a ceiling fan. Some rooms also have arm chairs or reclining beds.

The hotel is in the street of Gran Vía, next to the most popular and visited shopping area in Madrid and the theatre area.

The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Puerta del Sol, 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and 10 minutes from Palacio Real and the cathedral Almudena.

A great variety of restaurants and tapas bars are located in the surrounding area of the hotel.

The most important museums of Madrid, like El Prado, El Thyssen Bornemisza and Reina Sofia are a 10-minute walk.

Location Longest wait for taxi maybe 15 seconds.Staff very helpful with dining suggestions and directions and fluent in English. I will return to this hotel because when my work is finished the location is perfect. hundreds of cafes, bars and plazas in a 10 minute walking distance, 20 in Plaza Mayor alone. Try the Sangria in the bar/coffee shop in the hotel but be careful they are killers.

The central position of the hotel.

Only one complaint and that was the unfriendly manner of one of the the girls in the bar bistro area at the front of the hotel. All other staff were helpful and friendly.

The location is fantastic and the buffet breakfast was amazing! The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The complimentary mini bar is a fantasic extra!

The hotel is in a very good location. There's a metro station in front of hotel's entrance (actually 10m from the door), so you can easily go anywhere ( Madrid's metro is very good). The breakfast is expensive but excellent. The staff is very helpfull. Great place to stay.

Friendly and helpful staff in the hotel who have a good knowledge of Madrid. The location of the hotel is excellent very central for exploring the city centre on foot and witha metro station just outside the hotel for people who don't wish to walk. Breakfast buffet is superb and the breakfast room staff are friendly and efficient. this is the second time that we have stayed in the hotel. great!

Location, room facilities, staff were helpful and well informative about
the activities in Madrid.

The notable prostitutes all around the hotel area, I was supprised that
they are there day and night, and in high numbers.

very central and so easy to get to from the airport if you go on the metro. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room when we arrived and room looked out on the main street

The only problem was that it wasnt notified when booking that it is on the main red light district, but there was no trouble and if anything there was more hightened security around that area. But for older people it might not be the best

This was a fabulous hotel in the centre of Madrid. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast included in price and to top it off, the minibar was free! Very nice touch.

Internet was rediculously expensive at 10 Euro an hour. The wellness centre and parking were in a seperate location. Didn,t bother us as we were sightseeing anyway.
