Splendid position. The address is misleading because Busquistar is the other side of the valley which in the Alpujarras is significant. Breakfast coffee unspeakable and orange juice heavily diluted. Offered a complimentary drink before dinner by the management that was then added to our bill! Shower in the bedroom for a person with a disability was elevated and could have been better designed. However overall access was reasonably good.

This is a rustic spanish hotel deep in the Sierra Nevada'S. The people are very friendly and go out of their way to communicate if english is your only language. The food was great and the hospitality was incredable. The town of Trevelez is also very friendly to tourists and the scenery is incredable. If you want to experience the Mountains of Spain and the small town atmosphere stay at the Alcazaba. This was our second stay here and we really enjoyed it... Again!

The interior of the hotel was very nice with nice features that gave it a rustic feel. Facilities were also very good. The food was very dissappointing particularly breakfast which was cold every morning as was the coffee. This is a very basic issue and hugely important. Similarly, the food in restaurant was very dissappointing.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful landscape. Nice big room. When we stayed in the hotel in April 2011, not all facilities were open; the outside swimming pool was closed and the outside bar was under renovation.

No dormí nada bien.
