- Superb value for money - Nice setting - Comfortable - Friendly staff
- Small tiny pool - unpractical if you don't have a car
We really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. It is a beautiful traditional hotel full of carachter. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled into Seville by taxi for 18 - 20 E so if we were to return we would hire a car.
I could not find any negatives
Beautiful entrance! The hotel lobby is gorgeous and it smells nice (like incense). The surroundings are very quiet and there's free parking in the front of the hotel.
I specifically asked for a double bed because I was travelling with my wife and got a twin bed instead. I went downstairs to see if we could be changed to another room and the receptionist informed me that the "bed option" in the website only counts as a preference and not as a booking specification. Also informed me that there are only 4 double bed's in the entire hotel... And the rooms were all taken (October). So, if you're booking a romantic weekend forget about the bed... Jacuzzi was not working... And swimming pool was closed... So not a lot of commodities although it's a 4 star hotel...
Fabulous hotel, imposing entrance, super ambiance, good food, friendly/capable/well trained staff.
Noise from pool immediately behind the Hotels pool. The hotel was about to close for six weeks of the summer so there were shortages of certain foods and wines. Understandably . Pool could have been cleaner.
The reception hall has a beaufiful, authentic Spanish style. Staff at reception desk was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was okay, but more three than four stars. Rooms adequate. Small pool in small garden. Using outside terrace for breakfast not possible, in spite of beautiful weather. Still good price-quality ratio.
Fabulous building, wonderful , tasteful furnishings, nice garden. Tapas delicious. Idea for Ikea shopping! Will be back for sure.
On the day we were there there were a few things "short" in the Hotel. Dishes for dinner, wines selected etc but it transpire the hotel was closing for six weeks the following week so this was maybe a natural run down. Would still go back.
We loved dinner The quantity wasn't very impressive, the quality was excellent! Quiet location.
Hotel room was very clean and comfortable.. Receptionist Mercedes was very helpful and helped with organising our day in Seville
Waitress in the bar was rude did not smile or help in anyway.
Excellent location: quiet and semi-rural, but with easy access to the motorway system, and to Sevilla, if desired. Beautifully appointed, with large and comfortable bedrooms. The general air of quiet efficiency. Plenty of parking.
Whilst the breakfasts were excellent (with the only high-fibre cereals seen during 3 weeks in Spain!), dinners were very disappointing. Whilst translations were provided, the items were confusing, and it was difficult to establish which (if any) were starters and which main courses, not helped by the size of some of the portions offered. I disagree totally with the review which said the food was good value: I'm afraid I don't consider 23 euros for a plate of 5 tiny lamb cutlets as falling into this category (and I'm not a Yorkshireman of the "big portions for small amounts" variety!!)
A high quality Hotel with lots of character. Quiet countryside location. Excellent restaurant.
Very clean and tastefully decorated hotel with comfortable well appointed rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant has excellent food at very reasonable cost. Peaceful ambience a very short distance from Sevilla and situated within easy access to major highways for day trips. A great place to stay at.
Very relaxed and likeable location. Beautiful decoration throughout.
Just a little off the beaten track.
Place was lovely in a good location for our onward journey and close enough to enjoy Seville
Booking in was a chore and took a long time to find our booking. Although asking for a double we got twin beds and the mattress was too hard. Although we had paid for breakfast on booking there was no record of it when we went down and I had to go to reception to sort it out!
Lovely hotel, good value. Do have dinner at the restaurant - it is great. Good hotel to stay only if you are traveling by car - not too far from Seville but quiet and nice
Shower stall was way too small (and we are not big). Skip breakfast - not worth the money
It was such a pleasure to stay in this lovely hotel. I like it's style, decor, it is perfectly settled. I highly recommend this andalusian hotel.
Complimentary minibus transfer most days to Seville (out about 10 am, return about 6 pm, trip only 10 minutes). Rooms very nice at reasonable price. Road-facing rooms rather noisy unless windows kept shut, but garden-facing ones quiet. Reception staff welcoming and friendly.
Restaurant and bar staff neither accommodating nor friendly. Seemed put out by any request e.g. at breakfast we couldn't sit at a table we liked because it was already laid for lunch... but the next people who came along were begrudgingly allowed to do so because the restaurant was full. No cooked option for breakfast (e.g. asked for eggs, none available).
One of our children got ill during our stay. Although our order was something apart from the menu it was served to our room personally by the night manager. They were really kind and asked if there was anything else they could do for us.
The shuttle does not operate on Sundays and on Mondays. However they forgot to mention this crucial information while promoting their hotel. The only reason for us in choosing this hotel was the free parking and the free shuttle to the city centre. Arriving on a Saturday afternoon for just 3 nights at the hotel and figuring out that there will be no shuttle during our stay was a huge disappointment for us. We had to pay 20 Euros for each trip to the city and additional 20 Euros for returning to the hotel. I assume that the WiFi, just like the shuttle was also on a weekend rest during our stay. It did not work and at all. Although it is a nice hotel it was a very costly experience for us.
This hotel was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay here again!
