location, quiet, nice public areas, interesting place, food in restaurant very good value and good - half board amazing value. food in the bar, snack area was very poor and expensive - unlike the restaurant. |

The garden is beautiful and very well kept. Spending the evening on the terrace with enjoying a drink is something worth trying. Some good food in the town center, 10-20 minutes walk away from the hotel. The 4-star classification is quite a joke - the real quality is somewhere up to 3 start. The restaurant is just bad, buffet style - uncertain food enjoyed by greedy patrons stuffing themselves to death - (the a la carte part seemed closed all the time). The place advertises its past glory but is nowhere near the same. Not recommended unless you happen to get a very low price as we did. |

Beautiful hotel with very comfy and big rooms. Very nice park and tennis court. Extremely good breakfast. Cleaning works fine. Nice warm swimming pool, plenty of car-parking spaces, four free internet computers |

Im used to staying in this hotel but my room was bad - the light as you go on does not switch on so you always enter in the dark. The bathroom 1st switch does not work either. The bath has rust. The plug in the sink was no good cos water still went through it making shaving an impossible task for my husband. The lampshades both had burnt marks from the bulbs. Worst of all was the mattresses aches. |

The building and gardens are very nice. Our room was spacious with high ceilings. There was a ridiculous large amount of closet space. The bathroom was nice too. Sitting outside drinking a coffee or sitting at the pool was very nice. The breakfast was terrible! I know they aren't big on breakfast in Spain, but a 4 star hotel even in Spain should have a better breakfast. There was also a smell of pollution from the harbor. There was no refrigerator in the room. Baby cot was old and had a hole in the netting. |

They had live entertainment in the evenings. The hotel needs a little update, the general staff were not too friendly, but they were very busy. |

The food was good and the bar didn't save on alcohol in mixed drinks. Everything was clean. Air conditioning in the room worked fine, and the shower was excellent. The English language skills of the staff were, at best, at the level of an average Finn or Swede. Of course, in Spain, an average person doesn't speak English at all, so it's understandable. The WLAN Internet access did not work in my room even though I had full signal according to my Mac. |

They had everything you could need right at the hotel. We weren't too excited about wandering the streets for food late at night but the hotel had a nice restaurant at a reasonable price. In the first room we were placed in the a/c was broken and they were booked full, we were forced to stick it out with a fan instead. |

Pool was beautiful. Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed there was no space and transferred to anothe hotel 5 mins drive away. The hotel was basic and our room smelt of smoke. The reina Christina allowed us to use facilities but we left 2 unhappy clients, through no fault of yours. Food was poor and staff not overly helpful. |

It was set in lovely manicured gardens. The staff were not particularly friendly, the bathroom was not cleaned properly (there was a glass filled with a drink upon arrival) and the room smelt strongly of cigarettes despite being a non-smoking room/hotel. |

Clean, beautiful hotel, nice warm swimming pool facilities, plenty of car-parking spaces The staff tried to make me wait for a room to become ready despite my having arrived after the 1pm mark. I asked whether I could leave my luggage in the room and come back later, they allowed this. As I entered the room I was shocked to fund another guest already in the room. They assiged me to another room, which was ready for solo-use. Why not just send me to ready room in the first place? |

In all aspects, the stay at the Cristina measured up to our expectations. Wonderful service, food, pool and exquisite grounds and location. The best option for a stay in Algeciras. |

This is a beautiful old world hotel set in magnificent gardens just up a hill away from the city centre. Each room had a balcony to sit on and enjoy this beautiful garden view. We felt that the staff could have been a bit warmer and more friendly. The breakfast/dinner arrangement was not explained to us and we walked into town to get a lunch time meal on directions from the receptionist who neglected to mention that they had an excellent restaurant on site where we could have eaten. |
