Erinomainen hotelli. Hinta/laatu vähintäänkin kohdallaan. Sijainti sopi meille koska olimme menossa retkelle Afrikan puolelle ja satamaan oli lyhyt kävelymatka. Aamiainenkin parhaasta päästä. On kelvannut aikoinaan paremmallekin väelle kuten WC ja nenä-Kalle ym.

The staff could not do enough for us. We were very impressed with the service and the way they looked after us. Rooms were spotless.

Rooms a bit dated and prob not up to 4 star standard

The rooms are comfortable and clean. Compliment to receiption is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Individual elegant colonial style. Surrounded by lovely gardens with birdsong and flowers. Buffet breakfast was extensive.

Indoor pool closed for maintenance. Bedroom carpet. Internet connection not good in bedrooms.

The offside location

Old world charm - a place with history. Not there long enough to look round unfortunately.

Breakfast starting at 0800 at weekends, credit card machine not working - just as well we had cash.

Room was very good and clean.

Half board included an excellent choice buffet breakfast but the buffet evening dinner no so good on main choices .

I would prefer to have coffee and tea facilities in the room. Dinner was not my taste, I was under the impression dinner was a choice between a la cart and buffet, which it was not. The outdoor swimming pool was locked all the time.

what a fantastic hotel, its in its own private grounds close to the city and port, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the rooms are spacious, only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer

A good location, very beatiful hotel, breakfast is complete and convenable as time (till 11).

I didn't like the treatement of the reception. In the reservation I asked for a room qith double bed, and I found out is they were given to us with two separately beds at 3rd floor, where the conditions are worse than 1st floor. I was in august in this hotel and I liked very much, but I was surprises with the room given as conditions. They changed the room withour any problems, but they was not surprised with my demand. On the internet and the presentation of the hotel is written that they have a inside pool, but in fact is not working. It was not a big inconvinient but also not what we are expected of.

No facility for making Tea/Coffee in the mornings. Very poor for a star rated hotel.

The history of the Hotel - the first on the Costa do Sol and it attracted famous people. Probably the best place to stay if you are travelling on to Morocco or Ceuta.

Very helpful staff. Lovely grounds and public areas. Good buffet breakfast.

Bedroom walls a bit thin, could hear every sound from next room.
