Hotel Huerta Honda  

The man at reception was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us an upgrade to a superior room because we had asked for a quiet room and they were holding a performance in the hotel restaurant that night. The room was impeccably furnished in 19thC hacienda style, and the hotel itself was also beautifully decorated with a lovely patio and several restaurant and lounge spaces. Located right in the heart of the centre, with easy parking close by, a great find at a reasonable price. Hotel encantador. El señor de la recepción fue muy atento y amable (nos proporcionó una habitación de categoría superior a fin de evitar ruidos por la noche, había un espectáculo esa noche en el hotel). El desayuno estaba muy bien. No conocíamos el hotel, y ha sido un agradable descubrimiento.

The noisy children running around inside all afternoon. La permisividad con la que dejaban jugar a los niños tan cerca de las habitaciones (al día siguiente teníamos que madrugar).

Excellent secure underground parking for 5 euros. WiFi access in all lounges.

Slightly mean breakfast and the waiter was very unwelcoming. We had an excellent looking ensuite but shower only no bath and shower flooded the floor making it very slippy.

Location, right next to a parador and mins walk to the main area for resturants etc. The. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and functional. The view from the rooms is second to none looking over the roof tops to the Parador, fantastic.

Avoid Mondays, no resturants were open, including the hotel. Managed to get some expensive bar food in the hotel, not good!

This hotel was our favorite on our trip we were shocked at the rustic beauty of this hotel, the room was beautiful and very comfortable and very large the bathroom was as large as some of the hotel rooms, staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good English.

Huerta Honda is a comfortable and well-equipped hotel, with a very relaxed atmosphere. It has a bar, a café, a restaurant, a shop selling local produce, and several public sitting-rooms with sofas and armchairs. The inner courtyard, surrounded by airy verandas, is a pleasant place to sit and have a drink or a snack. Our room, though not large, was more than adequate, with comfortable beds and a quiet situation above the courtyard, with a view onto the castle from its own balcony. The hotel is easy to find if arriving by car. It is situated right on the edge of the attractive historic part of Zafra, with its picturesque streets and squares. Everything is within easy walking distance of the hotel. There are plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. Huerta Honda has its own adjoining garage with room for a small number of cars - best to reserve in advance. The daily charge of 6€ was good value, as was the overnight rate we paid for bed and breakfast.

Our only reservation about our stay concerned the breakfast. There were three options on the menu, differently priced, but the somewhat dour and abrupt waiter did not indicate that a particular one was included in our rate; we therefore chose the cheapest, which turned out to be very basic both in scope and quantity.

Very cozy place, where you felt at home at the moment you arrived. Like the decoration and style there, very personal. Can recommend to all, thanks for a nice stay.

The breakfast could have be a little better, only able to get some very ligth breakfast.

El horroroso mueble para soportar la television que ademas de feo tiene unos picos dañinos dentro de la ducha no existe un soporte para el jabon las luces estan mal conectadas y se enciende la del lado contrario la television es muy pequeña

El sabor y hambiente del restaurante estaban excelente.

La habitacion estaba in poco sucio.

En general todo ha estado bien.

El desayuno bastante pobre.

Me ha gustado el entorno. La decoración. Y algunas habitaciones que no fueron las que se metieron.

Al llegar pedí cama de matrimonio y me alojaron en la habitación 238. La habitación es deplorable. El cuarto de baño inutilizable. Una ducha con una mampara que se sale todo el agua. U lavabo atascado y que gotea. Ni una sola percha para toallas. Todo Fue decepcionante.

Las sabanas de la cama tenian zonas como desgatadas que podian parecer manchas me di cuenta cuando ya era muy tarde para llamar a recepcion

Magnífica ubicación, muy céntrico pero con facilidad de acceso y aparcamiento. Arquitectónicamente interesante con una preciosa vista al castillo. Cafetería con muy buenas raciones y tapas.

Hotel muy acogedor y confortable y con una decoración exquisita. Bonitas vistas desde la habitación.

Que despues de conducir 5 hrs desde Madrid, lloviendo todo el camino y con un frio increible, el único bar abierto no pudieras pedir NADA caliente. eran las 10 de la noche (en mi caso ya habiamos avisado que llegariamos sobre esa hora).

El servicio de cafetería donde estabas mezclado con la gente de la calle y el servicio no era exclusivo de la gente que de hospedaba. Había que esperar un poco.

Buen trato. Muy bien situado y muy buen precio para la categoría del hotel.

La ducha, al no tener una puerta hace que tenga se salga el agua a ducharse. Estaría bien una escobilla para el retrete. La televisión, demasiado pequeña, para que tamaño de la habitación.

Excelentes instalaciones colectivas, confortable y moderna habitación... en fin, muy buena relación calidad-precio. Es fácil aparcar el coche en las calles que hay frente al hotel.
