Huerto del Cura    

Really relaxing setting, great to have separate accommodation in the grounds.

Arrived 4pm on the day of stay, left at 6am the following but was charged for 2 days parking. Feels excessive.

Great location only 5 minute walk to old town center. Bungalow type setting, very private an quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet and close in secured parking.

The surroundings and informality

Peaceful, beautiful garden. Decoration and design superb. Kind staff.

Slow checkout, staff not sufficient delegation to solve problem.

Excellent hotel in centre of Elche - an oasis of calm with Spanish style bungalows surrounded by tropical gardens. Very good buffet breakfast.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the bungalow.

We stayed in the biggest room I have ever stayed in and it was so lovely I did not want to leave. This is our second stay at Huerta del Cura and hope it is not our last!

Proximity to places of interest

Room not very clean, no comfortable chairs. Bad lighting in bathroom, nowhere to put towels, soap etc - generally bad design.

Convenient location for the town, and a very nice and unusual setting of large chalet-bedrooms in the middle of palm trees. Food good in the restaurant.

I have stayed at Huerto on several occasions and its always been very good - you cannot beat the location in the centre of Elache but it feels like you are in the country side

Bit slow in the bar serving - but hey its Spain not Piccadilly

Its location set in a small palm forrest, its excellent restaurant and the layout of small bungalows with hotel rooms in them

The rooms were modern and luxurious and the setting in the gardens are amazing

The rooms are located in the grounds (four to a bungalow) in a palm garden. The hotel is adjacent to a garden (also called Huerto del Cura) which is a mandatory visit for any gardener.

Lovely tranquil setting in a bustling city. The quality of everything was excellent with an eye for good design. The individual bungalows were private, very comfortable and decorated in a simple, stylish way. The food was delicious and all the staff were friendly, efficient.and very helpful. We would definetely stay there again.

This hotel has a lovely reception, very modern and contemporary, it has been bought up to date without losing the original features. We arrived early expecting to leave our bags with reception until our rooms were ready, it was a pleasant surprise to be allocated our rooms immediately at around 11.30am. All rooms are set within the tropical gardens, they are bungerlow style all low rise in blocks of four, we were booked into a standard room, which was lovely, it was basic in a luxurious way, great size and spotless, I would of loved to have seen what the more expensive rooms would of offered because I was extremely satisfied with ours The gardens are beautiful and very unexpected, with high palm trees and flowering plants everywhere it gave us the feeling that we were in the Maldives or similar Pool area was lovely and so were the sitting areas We only spent one night at the hotel, it was a gift to our friends for there anniversary, great way of breaking up a week in Alicante- would definately return.
