Excellent location. Lovely rooms and fantastic service.
Pool was great.
We were given room 123 for te first night which didn't have air conditioning working and it was smelling of drainage, bad smell of wee from the toilets. Because we were in a rush to get ready for the wedding didn't have time to complain about it but just after midnight to inform them about the aircon. Next day they moved us to room 121, with view to the pool and a bit better smell in the room. I think there is a problem withte smell of drains in most bungalows as othe rod our friend attending the wedding also told us that about their rooms. It is shame that the park and the pool are great but the rooms need upgrading, the tiles in the bathroom are broken on the walls (2rooms seen) and the rooms are pretty basic for a 4star hotel. The tv is small and the aircon is very noisy during the sleep we had to put it on and off all night to be ble to cope with the heat but also be able to sleep without noise. The aircon is set above the door/over the wardrobe and not in the main part of the room, so it is not efficient. Shame the acomoddation is not as up to the 4* but more like for 2*. Again we had to give 10euros guarantee for a pool towel which was not convenient, instead of the hotel providing a card to collect towels as for standard 4* hotels... It was inconvenient for me to walk back to the room with the toddler to try to find the money to pick up a pool towel and in fact I didn't have my money cash as all were with my partner which was out to ear in town!!! We had to stay by the pool without towel but just try to dry standing!!! Very bad service in this regard.
the position of the hotel
hotel needed some tidying up looked a bit neglected
Wonderful setting of swimmingpool, lounge area, restaurant and bedrooms amidst palmtrees and green tropical plants. Main buiding has been tastefully decorated. Love the lounge area. Bedrooms are simple but clean. No luxury, but not needed
Staff was friendly, but restaurant crew seemed understaffed (waiting time) Breakfast could be better, in terms of choice, quality and presentation. Breakfast no value for money.
This hotel is fantastic, very relaxing, perfect in summer cause the little houses are surrounded by lots trees. The swimming pool is lovely.
I would absolutely not recommend the hairdressing service : the price I was given by phone for a upsweep, after 3 calls to have the information, after all didn't included the hairstyle, arguing it's a separate service. I didn't realize it because the hairdresser didn't said the hairstyle was an extra when I asked her to confirm the amount given by phone, arguing it the hotel who could tell; the price doesn't appear neither on the note you have to sign in order to charge the room. So I had to ask at the reception the intern sheet afterwards with the list of all the services and prices, but they didn't accepted any reclamation has it was already done. So I paid 60 euros for a 20 min hairdressing style.
We had been long awaiting our stay here and were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, comfortable and relatively spacious and as they are all set into small groups of bungalows in the grounds it felt quite private and tranquil. Very good fine dining, expensive by Spanish standards but affordable and definitely cheaper than an equivalent meal back in the UK. Well presented and interesting menu. My husband has recently become wheelchair bound and we have struggled in other hotels with the disabled facilities offered. This hotel tops the bill so far by a long way! Wheelchair access to all areas, good disabled toilet facilities and a proper wheel in wet room with plenty of turning access etc. Only down part one of the ramps was quite steep - ok for him as I could push the manual wheelchair but if you were managing a manual on your own or had a small power chair the ramp to the outside breakfast terrace could be a bit too steep. (In fact the whole of Elche works well for wheelchair users - flat well paved with plenty of ramps at curb edges etc). All the hotel staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The Hotel is situated directly opposite the Palmeral Gardens - well worth a visit! Close to town centre. I don't usually go back to locations as there is too much world out there, but could make an exception for this hotel and Elche - very pleasant stay.

Pool, bungalow setting
Expensive to add breakfast
The furniture in the room was a little bit old
good location beautiful swimming pool and environment good restaurant
bad room : it is not a triple room but just a double room with an extra bed the room is too old fashion and very small for three people the air conditioning is too old and noisy the breakfast is not at the level of a four star the staff is quite absent
Beautiful setting, excellent position with regards access to the old town, lovely pool .Well kept gardens
The ambiance of the outside breakfast area was spoilt by unlaid tables and lack of attention when clearing and laying up (we had a dirty tablecloth)
The ambience of pool and gardens
Food good but a bit hit and miss
we loved the (deep) pool, nice surroundings, location in the city and the decor of the room and reception areas
the AC worked not properly, we did barely sleep! Reception proposed us to switch rooms, but that one smelled of cigarettes...
Location, seclusion and excellent food.
Given the excellent facilities for disabled visitors to both the city Elche and the Hotel it would be good if this extended to the access too and from the swimming pool. Some shallow steps would make a big difference.
Glorious palm tree setting in the middle of town. Unusual arrangement of 'room bungalows' set in the extensive gardens. Very relaxing.
Lovely location in palm forest within easy walking distance to charming historic town. All staff highly professional and helpful. Lovely breakfast , good pool, comfortable chalet rooms. Family friendly.
Chalet rooms basic but well maintained and comfortable.
wonderfull garden with large swimming pool. Efficient reception. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Rigorous parking policy for drop off of luggage.
Lovely setting, charming cabins, simple yet luxurious.
Very quiet and comfortable atmosphere, with small bungalows integrated in a beautiful palm garden. Big swimmingpool under the palm trees.
The fridge did not work.
Wonderful location amongst the palms
We like the grounds the chalets are set in . Very lush and green!
I very much didn't like having been out all day, returning exhausted, and couldn't get into our room! As it was being cleaned at 5.20m! I didn't like that the mini bar was warm and didn't work on our arrival! And went to call reception! Guess what tha phone didn't work! Went for a sauna! The smell of drains/ sewage in the sauna enclosure was offensive! No welcome drink as experienced on previous visits! I feel standards are slipping at Huerta del cura! Not value for money! The room was at the entrance to the cleaners station big trolleys disturbed our sleep earl in the morning and late at night!! We left shattered due to disturbed sleep ! Wouldn't go back!
My husband and I loved everything about this little paradise in the heart of Elche. We can't wait to go back!
Relaxing situation in a palm tree garden, only 5 minutes from city centre. Good restaurant. Drinks in the garden by the pool.
Could do with hooks in bathroom for towels etc.
comfort and design
STAFF in restaurant don't speak english
The staff were amazingly friendly and the piña coladas by the pool were not bad either. The local area is very pretty and full of history. Be prepared to at least try some Spanish as there are not many English speakers. Our phrase book got some heavy useage.
