Right on La Rambla, easy walking distance to a ton of great restaurants and shopping. Nice sized room and bathroom. Proximity to the red light district (?). At any rate there was a lot of very loud activity in the hotel corridors all night long which was telegraphed into our room because our room was so hot we had the window open and the window opened onto a well connecting all the hotel corridors.

Location, location, location. Also the breakfast room was quite lovely and the staff was most helpful. This hotel is on the edge of the Gothic section and nearly at the mid point of La Rambla. The room was very spartam and painfully small. There was not enough space for a chair. The room safe was a keyed steel box located in the closet but it was not secured to the wall. As previous reviewers have mentioned the noise level from bothe outside the hotel and coming through the wall was at times excessive. Our room was in the back side of the hotel the window did little to muffel the conversations of some of the passersby.

The room is attractive, the welcome friendly and helpful and it is ideally located for the heart of Barcelona. They have changed their WiFi policy so that now one has to pay for it whereas previously it was free. The provision of a safe in the room would be most welcome.

Location was excellent, hotel was clean with friendly & helpful staff. Ideal for a city break but without the luxury. Room was basic and lacked the usual amenities you would expect such as a mirror (there was one in the bathroom but not in the bedroom) and a safe. The beds were on castors and moved on the tiled floor too easily.

Apart from being a bit noisy at night, great location overlooking La Rambla with metro station right outside. Great breakfast buffet in nice restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful.

They welcomed us, recognising that we had stayed there before, then upgraded us to an attractive corner room overlooking Las Ramblas. The room was attractively designed and we enjoyed this stay even more than the earlier one, probably because our first room was rather cramped. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Ramblas is another attractive feature.

Location was great. It also has a great rooftop overlooking Ramblas. The staff were helpful. The area around the entry to the room smelt terrible. Couldn't help but think the room had some dodgy renovation as the bathroom wasn't in the best state.

good location clean pleasent staff managent needs to consider all the visitors likes to have a cup of tea or coffe in the morning othrs times this hotels did not even a vending machine I will recommend the hotel to my friends but they need to provide some additional factilities which will not cost the managment

Good location nice room a bit small but we only stayed for 3 nights so it was ok.friendly and helpfull staff at reception. Did no have cafeteria or bar in the hotel but is in the middle of of the most popular square la rabla where we could find everything we wanted .

It wa\s basic, but excellent clean, lovely white linen sheets, comfy beds, basic needs in the bathroom. We were over looking the rambler with 2 patio doors on each side of the room, but as the doors were double glazed no noise at all.....the room was only small, but it didnt spoil the ambiance. Only complaint, being \english would of been nice to have coffee/tea facilities in room.
