“Amazing location for anyone who likes markets during the day and drinking at night. Also so near to the beach one way, and first stop of the city tour buses the other way. Would absolutely book there again. Lots of reviews said the only problem wsa that the safes in the rooms didn't work, but ours worked perfectly fine. Rooms also cleaned, and sheets changed every day :)”

The location is excellent for people that want to be near tourist attractions. The staff at the front desk had very poor customer service. They claimed I did not have a reservation although I showed them the printout of my confirmation from booking.com. They offered me to go to another hotel that was few miles away. I explained that I booked the hotel along with 10 friends, who had already checked in. I was vacationing with them and I did not want to go to a different hotel. The staff continued to refuse to give me a room. When I suggested that I will just share a room with one of my friend, the hotel staff said I would have to pay the full amount of one room on top of what my friend had already paid! I continued to argue for over 2 hours at the lobby. I think the staff became embarrassed when other guests were hearing my complaints that they eventually gave me a room.

Great location. Very quiet despite having a balcony room overlooking la rambla. Good housekeeper service, towels and sheets changed everyday. Despite booking a deluxe room there was no tea and coffee making facilities, this was probably due to the room being so small there was no space to fit a kettle. A free mini bar in deluxe room was advertised but non existent, not even a fridge. Room pictures very misleading. You are paying only for the location, much better value for money short walk off ramblas. Love Barcelona but not the hotel.

Location is fantastic and the hotel is exactly what it claims: Simply furnished rooms but comfortable and very clean. We had a balcony room overlooking Ramblas which was pleasantly noisy with the doors open but the double-glazing was so good it was silent with them shut. Highly recommended

I liked very much the location of the hotel,it was at the middle of Ramblas very close to the Liceu metro station..The room was just as we want it...The view at Las Ramblas road was very good and the room was very spacy and clean except the towels which did not changed every day.The breakfast was rich and we had a lot of options to choose what we would like to eat..

Excellent breakfast, perfect location. Very good cleaning service. Very loud from the streets. Also very thin walls, was not possible to sleep when those staying in other rooms were coming back to their rooms. Hotel's photos are not exactly what's inside. Our room was not even close to what was presented on the photos.

We did not like anything about this hotel. This property is over priced, old, dirty and tired. The only reasonable thing about it was the breakfast. Glad we only had to be there one night.

The location is marvellous!!! Just on La Rambla, easy to get to all tourists' attractions!!! Perfect for shopping! You have both large molls and small boutiques of Spanish designers around! It's up to you to choose!!! Staff was really friendly and willing to help!!! Looks quite shabby! both hall and rooms! Room service was ok,but could be definetly better!

The location of the hotel was fantastic - right on the Ramblas in the centre of it. It was ideal - very very close to te Metro and easy access to all the sights of Barcelona. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were 3 adults and 3 kids altogether staying in two rooms. Hotel had the worst privacy you can easily hear what is going on in the room next to you, even we were told to keep our voices lower(with 3 kids) which was was the only negative about the hotel. Location was excellent - on the Rambla - and almost next door to the Liceu, where we were going to the opera. Room was spacious, but with no 'dressing' - ie no cushions, no bedspread, no rug, which gave it a cold and spartan feel. Also our mini bar was not working and they were unable to fix it or provide an alternative. The drinks machine in the lobby charged 2e for a tiny bottle of lukewarm water. I had to ask at reception for a hairdryer as none was provided with the room (although a holder was provided for it in bathroom). Connectivity to the internet was sporadic. To sum up, the location had it all but if you are looking for comfort or facilities, then it is a huge disappointment.

As a Hotel absolutely nothing at all. Location is the only positive, since it is near by the port as well as to the shopping molls. Absolutely unacceptable condition of the Reception hall. Old, damaged and dirty furnitures, fully consumed in very bad condition carpets, unpainted and really in bad condition Main Enrance door. In the room they are using for the beds only a blankhet, which it is abnormal and anyway not worm enough. Missing dustpin in the room, not even a wardrope was available and many others. I checked and I can say I could get a much better hotel for the same price.
