The accommodation was good, room was large with sofa. Excellent selection for breakfast. Was not impressed with the leisure facilities. I booked this specific hotels as the leisure facilities looked good - sauna, swimming pool. It's mandatory that you wear a swimming cap, tried to find leisure reception, to either purchase or borrow a swimming cap, turns out they do not have any reception area. Lockers are locked by padlocks which you presumably bring yourself. We decided it was too much trouble to use these facilities which was a shame as the leisure facilities was the main reasons for booking this hotel.

Very good location, next to a metro station, a supermarket and department store and a 30 min walk into the centre of Madrid. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was very spacious. Poor quality bed and bedding. Sound proofing poor because of old windows a problem exacerbated by the late night working activity and a busy road just outside. No tea/coffee making facility. Pool and sauna used as a local health club and were therefore very busy and not relaxing. Room service very expensive. All make this generally good hotel difficult to recommend at this price.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Husa Princesa and had a wonderful time. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great, large, airy, well appointed and spotless. It was very quiet and the views were amazing. We had a magnificent Christmas dinner in the restaurant. The hotel is an easy walk to all major attractions. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

The location was perfect for visiting my daughter who is studying abroad in Madrid. We were close to the metro, shopping, parks and restaurants. The price was very reasonable and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly to Americans who speak little Spanish. I would highly recommend it to others. I wish we had free internet access and coffee in the room.

I chose this hotel because of the swimming pool, but it was rather limited - a bit on the small side and access was restricted because of aqua classes. Other than that the hotel was perfect for both business and pleasure - my trip combined both. Shame you had to pay for access to WiFi.

Nothing. It was very basic for a four star, we were not provided with glasses for the minibar - the bathroom was in very poor condition, with tiles lifting from the floor, the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. I could not get a lend of an iron and therefore had to pay to have an item ironed. The breakfast at twenty euro per person was very expensive and not worth it. We stayed on the ninth floor to the back of the hotel and were waking up to factory workers behind us at 4.00am loading trucks so it was very noisy. The air conditioning also was not working. Very very dissapointing, even the staff were quite unhelpful.

I was near to shops etc. I was impressed that the bedding was changed for the second day and that we were given a new toothbrush and shaving set. You do not often find this.

This is a very nice hotel ideally situated for access to the city centre by bus or metro and only a short walk from theatres and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and although we were on the top floor there are three very quick elevators so you never have to wait long to get up or down. The staff in this hotel are most helpful and can speak good english so making yourself understood is no problem. The buffet breakfast is also very good and efficiently run which is useful if you need to get going to make the most of your day. The view from the 14th Floor south facing is panoramic but this floor does suffer from excessive noise from the air conditioning units situated on the roof so best to avoid rooms on this floor if possible.

The location of the hotel, in the centre but not too central and not out the way, right by tram stop as well! Awfully rude reception staff. There's one woman, she looked about 60, short with black hair who was so rude to us and laughed at our spanish, and then at us when we spoke to her. She laughed as I tried to read the form I was signing as well... Also the food and minibar were ridiculously priced, and the hotel was too well air conditioned.

Conveniently located in the center of the city. Wide variety of food available at the breakfast. Big rooms. 24 hour room service available. Facility is a bit old. May be depending on the person, but at times services at the front desk was not the best.

Location; convenience to Metro and other parts of Madrid; spaciousness of rooms; responsiveness of staff. Air conditioning was weak but acceptable; actually this was my second stay as hotel was my first choice for the value in Madrid.
