Wonderful room with space enough for 3.
the room was really nice and confortable. Hotel in a great location
We arrived missing a bag and the guys at the front desk were extremely helpful,in trying to help us locate it with the airline. Overall, service was great.
Wifi was slow at times.
Room was dark, seemed overused and tired. Needs a facelift.
Internet has to improve
Everything is perfect except free wifi . Sometimes was bad connection but who cares . Other staff deserve 10 stars ;-)
Hotel de Las Letras sits in a great location on the Gran Via, but our room was peaceful and quiet. Great vista from the Roof Deck, and there's a bar, restaurant and gym as well. The staff was always welcoming, helpful and courteous.
Wifi was spotty during our visit but the staff was attentive to the problem.
Location is great, hotel is fair value for money. Beds are great.
A little bit a stretch to call it a luxury hotel, especially if one travels to Asia or India. Breakfast buffet was expensive.
Excellent breakfast Good (but pricey restaurant)
Double bed cobbled together a joke. Noisy rooms. Bath with shower curtain.
Awesome location on Gran Via, short walk to Puerta del Sol. 15-20 min walk to most tourist sights. Very nice hotel, extremely clean rooms. Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Javier gave me lots of information about Madrid and Toledo when I checked in to help me plan my week. Ask for a quiet room if you have issues with noise at night and they can put you away from Gran Via. Rooms on the side street have some noise, but less than Gran Via. The interior rooms are probably most quiet.
The bed is low, which was ok for me but I could see some people with bad knees having some issues.
Location is ideal. Rooms are spacious and the decor is bright and modern.
Breakfast on one day was chaotic due to lack of staff but the staff who were there did their best to cope. Breakfast on other days was good.
Amazing service and one of the best restaurants in Madrid.
What a gorgeous, funky hotel, in a great location!! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a top floor room with a private deck and hot tub!! Amazing view. Bathroom was very cool. Wish we had gotten to spend more time but caught a flight home the next morning.
Everything was great...hope to come back
The room we had was nice (superior with terrace). I saw the standard room - not good and very noisy.
The service was awful in the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was awful - don't have it here - have it somewhere else.
The room, the location and the in-house restaurant (El Trapo)
absence of coffee machine / tea kettle in the room. wifi could be better
The location- noisy and smell from the street! Couldn't air the room for a minute!
i thought the location was perfect because it is a stones throw from the night life, restaurants, shops and within walking distance of the sight seeing locations.
The toilet does not have a wooden door, it's a sliding blue glass panel that is hard to slide. When open there's no mirror as the slider covers it. There are no mirrors in the bedroom/lounge.
Location and staff
Position of hotel, very helpful staff. very good night's sleep. 1st class boutique hotel
breakfast chaotic. not enough staff.
excellent staff - friendly and helpful; location is ideal - just off the busiest part of the Gran Via, but close in walking distance to many popular spots, very convenient
Excellent location, spacious bedroom, quality pillows and duvet, good sized bathroom
noise from Gran Via, breakfast a bit too repetitive. Nespresso machines meant you had to keep getting up to refill and at times this meant queuing.
Close to the metro, easy to get around Madrid. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor and the museums. The reception staff very helpful and friendly. We had fresh towels daily. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning efficient.
We asked for a 'quiet' room.We had a superior room at the front of the hotel. Gran Via is an extremely busy road. Sirens going all through the night. Also the breakfast area doesn't lend itself to self serve. Hate Nespresso coffee machines!
Upgraded room excellent
Breakfast a little disorganised.
Location, staff, excellent breakfast included.First class restaurant and roof top bar.
Quiet, comfortable and spacious room with balcony. Drinks served in roof garden bar. Reception staff very helpful.
Reception area was not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel - functional but looked stark and rather cheap. Unfortunately restaurant closed for 2 nights and bar food very limited.
