The Hotel II Castillas has an ideal central location, just 300 metres from Madrid's Puerta del Sol district. It offers a traditional Spanish restaurant and free Wi-Fi access throughout. Rooms at the Castillas are simple and comfortable, with a TV and private bathroom. Each has bright décor and wooden flooring. The Hotel Castillas is an excellent base for travelling around the city. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Very convenient location. Breakfast room was stuffy and crowded, in the basement. Breakfast was very poor.

Nice, large bathroom hotel decorated with taste Room rather small, but actually my only big complaint is that there was no chair in the room and no table, you could only sit on the bed, impossible if you need to do some work on laptop. Through my whole traveller life it has never happen to me that there was no table and a kind of a chair in a 3 star hotel room for such a price!

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Good breakfast. Exceptionally large size bed for duble bed. Location is excellent for city trip (can't be any better). WIFI connection in our room (202) was very bad.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. Impossible to find fault. Would always stay here when in Madrid. Superb room, excellent staff, great buffet breakfast, tip-top location just off Gran Via....perfect!! Nothing to dislike

Great central location, attractive room and public areas, good breakfast buffet, attentive, helpful staff. Free WiFi. Adjoining restaurant was nice for a casual meal. "Double bed" was really two beds pushed together. Bathroom space was awkward, especially getting in and out of the shower. WiFi signal was weak in room.
