In Seville’s picturesque historic quarter and a 10-minute walk from the cathedral, Hotel Casa Imperial is in a beautiful Andalusian-style mansion.
Score from 850 reviews Very good
access to all the shops and restaurants in the centre of the city
getting there by car was not easy
Horrible customer service. Paid yet slow wifi. Tacky rooms.
not such comfortable beds
The location was perfect for visiting all the tourist sites with no need to rely on public transport as the city is very pedestrian freindly. The connection from the airport to the hotel was straight forward with the shuttle (AE) taken you into Plaza San Sebastián and then the tram T1 to Plaza Nueva with the journey taking about 30 minutes. There's plenty of very reasonable priced eating places within walking distance of the hotel. The room we had on the third floor faced the Plaza with great views. The room was clean and the staff very helpful.
The plaza is a very busy area of Seville with traffic from early morning to late at night passing the front of the hotel so you will experience some noise in addition to the bell ringing every hour day and night. The 14 euros for breakfast which we purchased only one morning we thought was over priced when you can buy on in the many cafes for around 6 euros. The mattress was very firm so with the noise as well some sleepless nights were endured. The roof bar with the wonderful view over Seville was closed and only open April to October
Central location, close to restaurants
Thermostat in the room doesn't work, blanket too thin, third bed is a sofa bed only
Price was good value Location good These were both the reasons I picked it. A plus was the electric blind which lets no light in if you scroll it right down
A little noisy but not v for town centre Annoying to pay for wifi - worked out cheaper to use my roaming now that eu has cracked down on charges while abroad in EU
Clean, central. Suite ok.
Staff attitude to service was abysmal. Need complete retrain. Travelled all over the world and never been spoken to so rudely by more than one staff. Heard the same to other customers so it wasn't personal !!
This hotel faces Plaza Nueva. It is easy to go anywhere. The staff were kind and helped to book a flamenco show.
Paid WiFi was poor unfortunately.
The staff were English speakers and very courteous and helpful, couldn`t fault the cleanliness and over all a very pleasant stay in a great location.
There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, also the breakfast menu for room service was a bit hard to work through,if you ordered from the a la cart there seemed no provision for ordering bread rolls which sometimes came with breakfast and sometimes didn`t. they also gave me a knife and fork to eat a soft boiled egg.
Location & staff
Uncomfortable bed & pillows
Need buy internet.
The hotel's position is perfect, in a spacious square but very close to shopping, the Giralda and the many excellent restaurants Sevilla offers.
Unfortunately on this occasion we stayed the very many kiosks for the book fair were being transported into place, erected and connected to mains power. This carried on 24 hours a day and meant it was extremely noisy at night and difficult to sleep.
Reception staff could have been friendlier.
location is excellent, 15 mins walk away from everything, very close to bars etc. Room was decent.
internet in the room was extra 6€/day, and room was a bit noisy
I didn't like the idea the hotel staff recommending a resturtant, which was a very expensive and the food was absolutely disgusting, And I thought it would have been nice to have free wifi service in our room at that price.
beautiful room, free upgrade, friendly staff, nice cocktails, affordable roomservice, perfect location, quiet rooms
room was very hot, the terrace was closed although the weather was nice, you have to pay for wifi in your room (6 euros a day)
Excellent location, nice hotel. Breakfast was good.
The aircon in the room didn't work. Some (not all) of the staff were a bit abrupt. The internet connection is awful—almost impossible to stay in touch with emails etc from the room.
Insufficient lighting in room No mirror in bedroom TV badly placed
Location. Within walking distance of everywhere New bedroom
No English TV, just BBC 24hr news. Rooftop terrace closed Only one easy chair (which wasn't so easy).
Right in the heart of this beautiful city you have this relaxed, unpretentious yet elegant hotel. The staff were efficient and the room comfortable. What's not to like in this price range?
Free wifi does not work in room
The room was nice but The bed was far too hard!! I thought I was sleeping on The floor.
A Bert nice Hotel with a perfect location
Great location near the cathedral; watching the sun set over the old city on the roof top terrace.
We had a superior room at the front of the hotel: Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy outside when the local bars closed.
Location, and where it was located. :) Clean, quiet (small) but comfortable room. Rooftop bar had wonderful views!
Concierge was rude and did not call to make a reservation for me, because he said that I should have made an RSVP weeks ago. (The concierge in the evening phoned and I had an appointment for that evening!) The hotel was nearly empty and instead of hooking us up w/ an upgraded or nicer room, they left us in same small room... there's nothing wrong with that, but an opportunity was certainly missed (I could be raving about them now!?!)
Best cosmopolitan cocktail in some time.
