Great Location Great VFM
big room, big and comfort bed, wifi quite good, location is perfect
Took a little while to check in - not many staff - just one at the desk serving
We loved the location because it enabled us to access all of the main sites on foot. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the palace and it's only 5 minutes from Puerta del Sol. Amazing food and lovely, welcoming staff.
The only bad thing was that due to the position of the room we had no view of the plaza.
1° good & varianted breakfast, but some more non-sweetened grains would be nice; 2° location is very good and silent environment
1° A double bed is not 2 beds pushed against each other 2° showering makes also the floor completely wet 3° dark room. floor mats to be renwed
Close to fantastic food and shopping opportunities! Excellent value for money.
Nothing to dislike
Beautifully apointed Hotel, centrally located with excellent staff & facilities.
Only complaint , and its small, was that there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room
The location was perfect. Just off the main road which has all the shops etc you need. A stones throw from the Royal Palace and very close to several metro stops to take you to any other sights/attractions. Lovely building with wooden floors and grand decor.
Lack of English speaking TV channels. Not the biggest flaw but nice to come back to after a busy day shopping. Pillows were hard. Breakfast was not clear that you could order bacon/eggs.
staffis helpful and customer focused. they know how to support the customer
Hotel located within 10 minutes walk to the nativerestaurants in the city. Easy access to three Metro stations, Opera being the closest station
One of the beds was a little hard.
Great location and excellent hotel. Really enjoyed our stay in centrally located very comfortable hotel. Staff & management very professional & friendly. Clever courtyard conversion & old and new wings combined very well. Left luggage facility meant that we could leave bags and enjoy last few hours in Madrid before flight. Delightful stay, top marks
Location close to the main sights and restaurants
A great location in the center, good services, good breakfast, very good and quite location, close to several metro stations...
Great area, everything you need is near. Hotel stands on a peaceful square.
u need wifi Access for every ectronic equipment
Loved the shower. Staff members were kind and accomodating. Excellent location!
My room and room floor smelled strongly of cigarettes even though the hotel is supposed to be smoke free. The mattress was not very comfortable.
The location. A few minutes walk to the town centre and the mayor square. The hotel room was very quiet.
The breakfast was a little overpriced. The room I chose when booking seemed a lot bigger than the one I was given, and looked onto a brick wall which made it very dark.
The location is great, close to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, as well as shopping district. WiFi worked better than in most hotels I visited in Madrid.
The room was really small, much smaller than advertised. There is only one lift, and I had to wait long times, even if the hotel was mostly empty. I cannot imagine what can happen when the hotel is full.
The hotel is on a very quiet square apart from the bells of the monastery sounding off at 6.30 am every day. Hotel is close to shops, restaurants, bars and major city squares. Staff at front desk are extremely helpful, breakfast has a variety and is adequate. Close to metro stations and within walking distance of most tourist sites.
Would be nice to have a kettle in the room but that is a problem with most European hotels.
generally good hotel and location is superb. In the city centre but in a quite street.
shower head fixed
Downtown Location is great!
Staff, especially at the terrace restaurant looked sad and was Not very nice...
Location was excellents
Room was a bit smelly from a leak
The hotel is in the city centre, 2 min walking distance from the station. Big, nice rooms, friendly staff. Good Wifi connection.
Great location close to centre of Madrid, i.e. Puerto del Sol, Calle Arenal and easy to get to from airport. Excellent staff, friendly & helpful. Would go back again.
As with most hotels in Europe no tea making facilities in room. Breakfast quite expensive.
